We enjoyed our 1 week trip at the Hyatt. The grounds were the nicest of all on the boardwalk. The breakfast buffet was EXCELLENT each morning and it came with our room! We walked to the Sheraton each day, about 2 miles round trip, beautiful cement walk all the way there along the beach. The restaurants are great at the Hyatt and the staff are really nice and friendly. The bad.......Maui is red sand beaches, not white. We like Waikiki much better for the beaches and that's why we went. Really disappointed in Maui beaches. The Hyatt rooms are old and outdated. The sliding doors tell how old, very noisy and hard to slide. The room was clean but old. Snorkeling was a lot of fun. You can go on your own, lots of beaches to do that or take a snorkeling trip, which we picked Hawaii Ocean Rafting and it was AWESOME! They took us to a coral reef that was BEAUTIFUL and we got to see tons of dolphins! Good trip all and all, would not go back to Maui though. So many shacks as you get away from the hotels, the people there do not take care of their homes. Front street was fun, went almost every day, lots of shops, bars and restaurants.

Aloha and thank you for reviewing your recent stay on Maui. We're thrilled you had such a great stay with us. It's wonderful to hear you enjoyed the beach promenade and that you thought our grounds were the nicest of all on the promenade. We're delighted you thought our breakfast buffet was excellent and that you had a good time snorkeling. We do hope you'll come back and visit us again. Mahalo

Love the location and the grounds. Easy walk over to Black Rock where the divers jump. Had some great snorkeling in that area. Saw several turtles and tons of fish.
Great Mai Tais at all of the Hyatt bars. The Luau was tons of fun.

Stayed at Hyatt Regency this month. The room was very nice as were the grounds. Only negative on the pool area is the lack of shade. Everyone was trying to get out of the sun and therefore there was a lack of shade umbrellas. Ate one meal near the pool. Service really slow and food was so-so. Breakfast in the restaurant was very expensive and there are many places close by that are 1/3 to 1/2 the cost. Location is great and you can walk everywhere.

I used Unforgettable Honeymoons to book my entire Honeymoon! The business is a travel agency based out of Portland. They were hands down the best that I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with! I'd like to take the time to just say thank you to Renee for helping me plan a truly unforgettable experience for my honeymoon! My wife and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Renee was super nice right out of the gate and had incredible patience. She is truly a professional and an absolutely fantastic person. She chose this fantastic hotel for us and we had such a great time. The hotel is A+. To everyone else who had also helped me when Renee wasn't available, I'd like to also thank. Every single person that I had the pleasure dealing with couldn't have been better. My wife and I can not wait to plan our next adventure! It will certainly be with you! Thanks again
