Good central location. Live flamingos birds in the lobby pool. Beautiful, and as most things in Hawaii very expensive. We booked with triple AAA travel thinking we could get a deal. It was spring break week/high season, and everything was expensive. Still I feel if we would have shopped around a bit on our own we would have received a better value.

What can I say, it was great! We booked a Pleasant Holiday vacation package with hotel, rental car and airfare and this place is wonderful! Because it was our anniversary, they gave us an upgrade from a mountain view to an ocean view! The rooms are spacious, with a queen size bed, in room Kona coffee and daily bottled water, there is a coffee bar on the grounds serving Starbucks coffee and drinks, 24 hour super fitness center and super meaning a big fitness center with all the props you can think of, machines, bosu, medicine and stability balls, mats, free weights, body bars, resistance bands, bosu balls, filtered water, towels, fresh fruit and the Heavenly Spa offers fee based yoga, spin and aqua fitness classes at a reasonable price, you can also rent New Balance fitness clothes if you forgot your work out clothes for only $5.

As far as the pool area is concerned, it is very lovely and there's a cool jacuzzi hidden inside one of the pools. Very relaxing. There are flamingos, koi and a black swan in the pond with a beautiful waterfall. The consierge, Toki gave us a tip on where to eat. Valet service is excellent. One of the waitresses was very hospitable, Connie at the Relish Burger, when we went to get our breakfast buffet. Our stay was great and we would come back to stay here again.

Room Tip: Ocean view is beautiful but somehow the room has thin walls you can hear the shower in the other roo...

You haven't had an amazing massage until you book 80 minutes with Heather: Westin Heavenly Massage. BEST EVER. She's very skilled and it was bliss. I was restored. I will be back over and over. The general spa area is a bit tired and in need of an update...but the treatment rooms are lovely and as I said...massage was the best ever. Enjoy!

Room Tip: If you're distracted by hallway noise, ask for a spa treatment room away from "traffic"...

Beautiful grounds, beautiful newly renovated rooms and an amazing pool!!!!! A perfect place to stay as a couple and as a family. You can swim in the ocean and head over to the pool all within a few steps. The ocean view rooms are a must!!!!!!

Shopping next door was perfect. Quicksilver, Oakley, children's toy store. Everything you could possibly need, they had a store for. They had the BEST Louie Vuitton store with the newest collections and collections I had not seen before in the states.

Complementary room wifi if your a rewards member. This is a must if you have teenagers!!!!!

My only wish was was that happy hour was longer. Everything else seems to run on Island time, too bad happy hour didn't.

Room Tip: Ask for the new updated towers. The older tower has larger rooms, but the new towers has updated ro...

We celebrated our honeymoon here. We could not have ask for more. The staff is professional, accommodating, and very friendly. We will return! Because we had a late flight out the staff has a hospitality room to freshen up in prior to departing which was well after checking out.

We stayed here for 5 nights after finishing a cruise. The resort is fabulous - starting with the entrance which looks on to a rocky pool and waterfall with (real) pink flamingos and black swans in residence.
The room (ocean view) was also fabulous. Large with a view to die for, overlooking the rocky waterfall, and the five swimming pools set into the wonderful gardens, and then further to the ocean, and directly West to the sunset. I could have sat on the balcony for hours just watching all the goings-on!
All the staff were friendly and helpful. The resort only has one burger-style restaurant (which had a very good buffet breakfast), but we had hired a car (Mustang Convertible, of course!) and drove 5 minutes down the road to Lahaina township each night where there are lots of restaurants. The concierges at the resort were very helpful in telling us the best restaurants to try. If you don't have a car, the resort has a shuttle service, but as we didn't use it I am not sure about the frequency and route etc.
The pool complex is spectacular with five pools set at different levels amongst palms and gardens. At least one is adults only, and there is a water slide hidden away in the rocky gardens that winds down into the main pool. The kids (and lots of adults) loved it.
Only niggle was that our room was very close to the lifts, and the lift doors were a bit noisy - made a funny groaning noise, when they opened and shut.
We were very sad to leave this lovely place.

Room Tip: We had an Ocean View room on the 9th floor (of 11). At that level we could see over the gardens and...

My wife and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary in June and we were happy to stay at the Westin Maui. They were great in working with me to have a pineapple try and card waiting in our room on our arrival (I love surprising my wife). The following morning when I asked if there were rooms available with a little better view in our tower, the front desk person happily checked, found one and asked if I'd like to look at it. I took a look and it was GREAT!!! They were happy to switch us over and that was a very nice touch. The luau was a great time with lots of food to choose from and great entertainment. We were sad to leave, as anyone who visits Maui would be. We did stay by an elevator, but honestly, its not a big deal, as some reviewers have mentioned. We spent so much time exploring and doing things during the day that it was easy to sleep at night. Enjoy the island and your hotel stay will be equally enjoyable. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Room Tip: Ask for a higher up room, it has a much better view, wherever you are looking
