Whaling was a huge part of Hawaiian history. This museum should not be missed. Best deal money wise. It's 2 bucks or so to get in. That is like free in Maui terms. Very informative. Take the kids and get into quiet time. After all the activities of Lahina, this will be a spot you will remember. Then, if you care about the whales today, make sure you go to pacific whale foundation!!

The museum is on the top floor of the mall and doesn't take long to go through but was very interesting. I never knew what scrimshaw was till I visited. Well organized and interesting,

We love to walk down to the Whaler Village from our condo. We love that it's free. It's very informative. A great place to take your kids.

Located on Kannapali beach next to the Westin hotel and close to many other resorts. Great shops but a little pricey but they cater to tourest. Great place to pick up a nice t-shirt and gifts for the children. Shop the n eat at the local restaurant or vice versa
