The parking lot is a zoo. Full of frenzied tourists looking for too few parking spots. We came at 6 pm so the place fills up with diners and people there to see the sunset. Maybe other times of the day it isn't that bad. The stores are a lot of high end places so no bargains to be had. There was a woman singing in the center which was very nice and a whaling museum which is closed in the evening. You pay to park and then get your ticket validated for free. Doesn't work out so well with all the expensive shops. You might as well just pay the $3 per half hour.
