Our family of five spent 10 wonderful nights at a two bedroom loft oceanfront unit and couldn't have asked for anything better. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The views right from our unit were great. We were close to the pool, although we mostly used the beach where we enjoyed snorkeling and even saw a couple of large sea turtles. The whole area is close to many other great beaches like Napili and Kapalua and only a short trip away from the shopping and attractions of Lahaina.

Our unit was well decorated, equipped, comfortable and spacious. The cathedral ceilings were nice and made the rooms seem larger than they are. It had all of the necessary accessories to make our stay enjoyable. This is a very family friendly location. The staff was always helpful and friendly. We also made a good friend, Scott, just down the street at Boss Frog's. He worked with us to find some great things to do and was very helpful.

I would HIGHLY recommend Kahana Village and would love to return. If you are going to Maui, want to be by the ocean and you need a place with a kitchen and family room. This is the place to come.

Room Tip: Unit 22 has an amazing view of both islands and a perfect place to watch the sunsets every evening...

We spent 10 nights in an oceanfront unit. Lots of room to stretch out, tastefully furnished, everything you might need to feel instantly at home. The pool and jacuzzi are fabulous.

The quality of your experience may depend on the courtesy of your neighbors. Some were quiet, others not so much. If you rent an interior unit, the kitchen area is dark. The beach is nice (not large). Some areas are rocky. Don't expect to take long beach walks unless you plan on going back & forth. Be aware (most people are) that these condos are not air-conditioned (if you have allergies, etc.) There's always a nice breeze on this part of Maui, and the units are cross-ventilated.

Be careful at the Mai-Tai party. They are deadly.

We stayed at Kahana Village in unit 4 from May 21 - May 28 and I couldnt be more pleased! The condo was great and well equipped with everything you need from beach chairs to boogie boards to cork screws and rice cooker, I do mean everything! The condo was clean, and updated, the beds were really comfortable even the couch was comfy for an afternoon nap!
The grounds are kept immaculate, lush and green and the pool and spa are also very well kept and the wednesday hosted MiaTia party was a blast!
The management, the office staff and the maid service was exceptional! Each and everyone of them goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone has a really great vacation!!!

My husband and I, along with our two children spent an incredible week here in May of 2013... We were in unit 22, which boasts a prime beachfront location!! Beautiful sunsets every night and views of sea turtles right in the water there. The ONLY negative was the carpet in this unit. Not horrible, but should be replaced soon.. Everything else was perfect! The kitchen had everything you could need!! Almost better stocked than my own at home and the whole unit was very clean! We slept VERY well with an amazing breeze coming through all night!

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to spend your time on Maui, this is the place!! If you want a lot of action and partying, this is not the place for you, for sure!! I have never returned from a vacation so rested in my life!

Also, the staff here were very helpful and answered any questions we had and were able to direct us to beaches and restaurants that suited us.. Definately recommend this little jewel in Kahana!

We stayed at Kahana Village for 10 days in the 2 bedroom unit number 14 during May of 2013.

The experience was great at the resort and they have a great location, pool and close by beach.

We will go back to Kahana Village again, but will avoid any units that is close to the road.

our unit's bedroom window was RIGHT next to the main road and the road noise is terrible! In 10 days we did not have one undisturbed night's rest. big trucks and loud motorcycles come through all night long and a big diesel truck was parked right close to our window and loudly left every morning like clockwork at 4:30am. So we pretty much started the day every day at 5am.

Other than that, it was a great place to stay. very clean, very modern and updated with great amenities.

The master bedroom mattress could do with un update though, its super soft and lofty and felt a bit collapsed on the left side of the bed.

Air condition would be nice, but not necessary with the fans and the sea breeze.

We (two adults, two children, one grandma) stayed in Unit 17 for seven nights in April 2013. we cannot say enough about how well equipped and homely this unit is. Extremely comfortable beds, even the queensize pullout bed was comfy. The bathrooms were spacious, well equipped with double vanities and the water was always hot. The washer/dryer were very fast. The kitchen had everything, and the abundance of crockery and utensils etc made self-catering breezy. The view from the lanai was wonderful, straight over the pool to the sea and the sunset. the welcoming Mai Tai party on the Wednesday was fun. The pool and surrounds were great - one comment could be to put a small warning notice on the spa as it turned all of my sterling silver jewellery black! The location was perfect for exploring this side of Maui, and was a haven to return to after a long day in the car. Will be recommending this one to everyone I know!

Room Tip: Condos close to the road have some road noise early in the mornings.

We stayed in unit #8 and it is first rate. 2 bedroom condo with a loft and it is on the second floor. We were 4 adults and there was plenty of room to sleep. 2 large bedrooms and a pull out sofa. Very nice fully equipped kitchen and large living room. Beautiful oceanfront view. Nice beach and pool. You can sit on your balcony and watch the tide come in. Close driving distance to anywhere..shops, beaches, attractions. Staff are very nice and helpful and the grounds are immaculate. We will definetely stay here again!! Thank you Kahana Village!!
