Maui Beach Ocean View Rentals

Our stay was delightful. We stayed in the Bamboo suite and had a bedroom, sitting room and bathroom all together. Plenty of room for us to sit and relax in private. The spa bathrobes and beach towels to use were an unexpected perk. We enjoyed being able to walk across the road to watch the sea turtles come in each evening with the tide. The little beach across the road was a great place to take a quick dip in the ocean in the morning. the beach is small but first thing in the morning you have it all to yourself! Tanaz, our host, was very helpful and if we needed to communicate all we had to do was text her. We would go back and stay there.

We loved our stay here. We stayed for 3 nights and would be happy to return there. We didn't want to be at a large resort and wanted a smaller quieter place. This was exactly what we wanted. It was an easy short drive to everything we wanted to see, but located in a very quiet peaceful neighborhood so none of the noise and craziness of the bigger touristy towns. The grounds were lush well maintained gardens and our room (the bamboo suite) was lovely. It was a large suite with a private living room. There was also a very large common room and when we were there we were fortunate to be the only guests so we had it all to ourselves too. The owners were very nice to arrange travel plans with in advance with and very responsive to all emails and questions. When we were there we never saw them, which is unusual for a bed and breakfast, and we were a bit surprised, but was actually rather nice as we had a totally peaceful, private and more romantic experience having the place all to ourselves.

Room Tip: We loved the Bamboo Suite

Due to delayed flight we arrived at 2am. The lights were on and midnight snack was waiting for us in the room. The room & bathroom were clean (and I mean clean, not just looking clean). We woke up at noon to the sound of waves. The breakfast basket was incredibly convenient as take out for eating on the beach or on the road. Stayed here 8 nights and love the location too. The whale watching from the patio, sandy beach & coral reef for snorkeling were wonderful.
This was our first stay in B&B and I would never book overpriced hotels again. Incredible value for the money. I recommend to everyone who wants to experience true Hawaii and not crowded international chain hotels.

Room Tip: Bamboo Suite. Two rooms (bedroom & living room).

The place was sold as a bed and breakfast. The breakfast was a Capri Sun drink bag, banana, and a conveinence store roll. Rooms are small, one set of towels. The grill is out by the street. The beach dissappears with the tide. We were greeted by the owners young child running out naked shaking his "thing" at us. Not for me.

We stayed here for 8 nights over the Christmas holidays. Not once did the owner offer to change the sheets or towels. I had to ask and got one set of each. The "kitchen" is not a kitchen. The microwave is not in the room. There is a two cup coffee maker but the owner did not even provide coffee after two days. Not quite what we expected for a bed and breakfast. The most disappointing was that we requested a two hour late checkout nearly 30 days in advance of our stay and on the morning we were to leave the owner advised she could not accommidate us. This resulted in our having to cancel our plans for a snorkeling trip before our flight. Oh...and did I mention I killed two coachroaches in our unit?
On the positive side, it is a peaceful location away from the tourist crowds. You can walk about 1 mile round trip to get coffee and groceries but it closer to a two mile round trip walk to go to a resturant. There is a small beach across the road but I do mean small and when the tide is up the beach is not usable.

We stayed 4 nights at Maui Beach Ocean View. It is a very nice place with a good connection to all sourounding attractions. It has a nice beach in front, that is perfect to take a short swim. The breakfast was not the hit, but that was fine for us. In relation to other bookins I made during the two weeks holiday I found it a little bit to expensive. We stayed in the lower room and it has no balcony and not really a view of the sea.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the upper floors to have a nice view of the sea.
