Thank you for the wonderful comments on Trip Adivsor! My team and I take pride in our resort, always ensuring that each of our guests have the best stay ever. We hope to see you again in the near future!
My boyfriend and I went on our very first vacation to Maui and I searched all over for the best deal on expedia with our flight and hotel booked together - this hotel blew us away... Just an amazing experience overall.
The name is sort of confusing since it used to be an Aston hotel but after renovating the Paki Maui is now a part of Castle Resorts & Hotels. We didn't get a room with the shore view which I didn't mind at all since the hotel is right on the beach anyway! Our room was extremely comfortable, and I love, love, LOVED the full kitchen. We saved a lot of money throughout the week by being able to cook our own meals!
We visited the front desk often for help, questions about activities and personal requests and the girls were more than accomodating. They were just so helpful! Check in and check out was a breeze. The only upsetting part of our stay was that they couldn't make change for a large bill so that I could put coins into the laundry machine (but that's okay, we went across the street to one of the shops and they were kind enough to exchange us with quarters). The area along the Kaanapali coast was very relaxing and I'm glad that we chose to stay here for our very first get-away together.
Thank you for sharing your comments and we are happy that your "1st getaway" was an awesome experience with us!
We look forward to your return visit!
Paki Maui is away from the corporate hotels in the Kaanapali area of Maui. The condos are well furnished and overlook the channel between Molokai and Maui. The beach has a small rocky area to traverse first, but is also protected by a horseshoe shaped reef, making it very safe to swim in. Staff were very helpful.
Thank you for taking the time to share with us your comments regarding your stay. We take pride in our lovely resort and look forward to your next visit with us!
We went to Maui to be married, and stayed at the Paki Maui. We had a one bedroom condo, including a full (albeit small) kitchen. We had great experience with all the staff, the room was kept clean and we had an amazing view of the ocean from the 3rd floor. There isn't AC, but lots of powerful ceiling fans, and if you have the massive double sliding doors on the patio open, and the window in the bedroom you get a fabulous breeze through the suite... I didn't miss AC at all.
The grounds were very well kept, very nice courtyard with a koi pond and gorgeous flowers. We made use of the BBQ pits a few times. The beach is smallish, but sandy with 2 reefs that help minimize some of the wave action when you're snorkeling. The amount of colorful fish was unbelievable!! At times I was surrounded by hundreds of different fish, and even swam with a couple huge turtles!
There are a number of convenience stores within a very short walk where you can get everything from a cup of coffee, quick bite to eat, souvenirs, alcohol etc. as well as a few specialty shops and Boss Frogs rentals.
There is a public beach right next door with a playground for kids, great sandy beach, amazing snorkeling, and more BBQ pits.
All in all we had an amazing honeymoon at the Paki Maui... Thanks to all the staff that made our stay so memorable!

Aloha Mr. & Mrs. Wallin,
Thank you for your wonderful compliments and we enjoyed having you here. We look forward to your return visit!
convenience location, exterior looked ok
hotel and rooms were old, no AC
bedroom next to corridor (people can look into your bed through the air window, and noise when people walking by)
The last night we decided to cook in the kitchen, and found 20+ mini roaches in kitchen. Very disguisting
Thank you for your feedback, but we do not manage all the units at Paki Maui so I am unable to assist you as you did not provide a Unit number. If you would like to call the office, and ask for the general manager, I would be more than happy to help you or direct you to the right person.
We stayed in 117 at Paki Maui, wouldn't stay again! All the paint was peeling off the corners of the walls, the bedroom and bathroom had sliding doors that didn't slide closed without a lot of effort, and desperately needed new paint, the walls were dirty. The cushions on the chairs were covered in stains, very disgusting in my opinion for paying that kind of price. The fridge had rust on the sides and duct tape holding the shelves together inside, the stove had rust around the oven door, and the dishwasher was filthy and black inside, needless to say we hand washed all of our dishes. If we needed anything we couldn't call front desk we had to call the company we booked the room through, what a pain in the butt! All the ground floor rooms face the street and we got no sleep, the walkway goes right by each bedroom so even with the windows closed we could hear people and cars all night. The bed was OLD and the springs were all broken, you couldn't roll over without the springs popping and the whole bed bouncing and waking each other up. The toilet quit working on the 2nd day, we were only supplied with one roll of tissue paper and Paki Maui housekeeping wouldn't restock as it was a privately owned unit. They obviously don't enforce quiet hours as we had to listen to partiers at all hours of the night.
Aloha and thank you for expressing your concerns.
Unfortunately we do not manage Unit 117, and therefore do not provide Hskpg. or maintenance services to units outside our rental pool. I do apologize and hope you were able to bring your concerns to the owner of this unit.
