“Rest and relaxation in style and comfort!”

We recently stayed at this hotel when my wife and I got married. We stayed in a very nice two bedroom, two bath unit with a kitchenette and sleeper couch in the living room. This unit was also air conditioned with 3 small units in the main rooms. It easily slept 6 people.

The master suite was spacious with a King bed, large closet and dresser, a full bathroom with a gorgeous slate lined, walk in shower (Side note: Neither bathroom had a tub). The guest room had a queen bed, and large closet along with dresser. The kitchenette was very nice, and complete with amenities like a garbage disposal and a dishwasher. It was also fully furnished with plates, glasses, silverware, and pans. The second full bath also included the same gorgeous shower, and indoor laundry alcove.

While not directly on the water, this location is a short walk from downtown Lahaina where you can get anything you need for your stay.

I thought the grounds around the units were beautiful, and also enjoyed the TWO lovely swimming pools, the larger of the two including a fabulous hot tub. The larger of the two pools also was surrounded by a large outbuilding featuring covered sitting areas, television, and bathrooms. Located next to the smaller pool are two gas bar-b-ques for guest use. Both pools feature free Wi-Fi service also.

All of the staff were helpful and pleasant. Parking is available, but not free (But it's a bargain at what they charge because it's not easy parking on the street!).

After staying 5 days, there was only one thing I wished for, and if you spend any time at the beach while you were there you will agree, was a hand held showerhead to help get sand out of where it shouldn't be.

I would most definately stay here again!

My family and I stayed in the condo complex 41/2 days. We chose a two bed two bath full kitchen unit with a washer and dryer. The kitchen didn't have salt or sugar and barely had any coffee. The containers for dish soap and laundry were mniscule and importantly there was no place whatsoever to hang wet beach or pool towels and suits.

We had signed up for a garden view but our unit fronted the parking lot. When the maid came in the morning and my husband and I were al the pool, my 12 year old said she was still sleeping... The maid never came back and when we asked at the front desk they said we had "refused service"

The rooms were clean and fresh and nicely appointed... Comfortable handsome decor somewhat island style, but pier one like as well.

The pool area was pretty but the cabana lounges had dirty covers which was unappealing.

The location was great, there was plenty of easy parking and the unit was commodious and fresh... Air conditioners were loud but worked well...

Worst thing was reception desk where there just simply was little to no spirit of Aloha...they seemed over-worked and under staffed... Cross and harried.

Booked through Expedia and for about $100 a night is the best deal you will find in Maui that is a decent place to stay. The grounds and salt water pool and salt water hot tub are the nicest part. The rooms have everything you need and were remodeled about 5 years ago. Some poeple live there as the location is vacation condos as well.

A lot of children there in the summer and both pools are filled with them so it is really not a place to relax by the pool. The resort should make the salt water pool adult only and use the other one for familes.

It's in a great location as you can walk a block to front street and get around on bicycles or scooters if you want.

The parking is a big rip off at $15 per day so if you rent you will spend a lot of time looking for nonexistant parking elsewhere.

Very touristy area so not the place to go if you don't want that.

Wild chickens and roosters all over the property will wake you up very early, by the way. Maui does nothing to control this and you will see it all over the island.

This is within walking distance to the beach and shops. They have two pools on the property that are really nice as well as an outdoor tv and grills. The condo's are spacious, it's just like being at home, you can buy your groceries eat at the condo or grill by the pool. The staff are really nice and the grounds are kept beautifully. Would definately come back here! Kid friendly too.

The property is lovely, exactly like the pictures on their website. A great location, walking distance to almost everything. I would have rated the rooms higher if they had twin rooms. We didn't want to spend the extra amount to get a two bedroom place and so one of us had to sleep on the fold out couch, which is never a great experience.

After reading all the reviews on TA about the Aina Nalu I was sure it was going to be nice, but it was even nicer than expected. Upon checking in I asked if we could get an upgrade from a studio to a one bedroom. Sure enough they gave us a one bedroom at no extra cost to us. Check in fast, easy and very very kind people to help you.

Condo - one bedroom - everything we needed for a week on Maui. We used the refrigerator all the time. Did not cook at all but had breakfast and lunch upon occasion in the room. Queen bed comfortable. Everything is in the condo, soap, shampoo, lotion, paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, beach towels at housekeeping....no wait.

Grounds - always clean. 2 pools on sight (one saltwater and one is a regular chlorine pool), a double size cabana at each pool, lots of lounge chairs, BBQ grills and a couple tables, coffee in the morning from 8-9am at the chlorine pool, recycle bins for everything.

Lobby service - open till 10pm and will help you with anything you need. From directions, exchange of pool towels, whatever.

Jackie from Expedia is on premises to help you arrange day trips.

Snorkel Bob's across the street for beach chair and umbrella rentals for the day or the week. Very helpful because you find you want to get in your car and sit at a different beach everyday. Pick up a cheap styro cooler, fill it up, load your chairs and umbrella and head to any beach within minutes.

We drove the entire island starting and stopping at as many beaches as we could. Our favorite was right in Lahaina, Baby Beach. Just a 2 minute drive up Front Street (where there is every type of eating and shopping you may want). Front street is a one block walk from Aina Nalu. We walked to Front Street every night for the sunset and nightlife fun and activity. Very safe anytime of day or night.

Now the one big problem we have with the Aina Nalu....parking is $15.00 per day. Ridiculous to have to pay that price on top of your room rental price. Yes you can park on the street, which we did for 3 nights. But on the fourth night and for the rest of our stay we rode up and down the streets for about half an hour until we finally gave in and stopped at the desk lobby and got a parking pass for what we thought was the night only. NOT SO....once you purchase your parking pass you pay for the entire balance of your stay at Aina Nalu. So don't purchase a parking pass at checkin. You might be lucky enough to find a street parking spot that night. If you have to park in the Aina Nalu parking lots, wait until you absolutely have to because you pay $15.00 per night from that day on until the end of your stay.

If going to Maui, Aina Nalu is the must stay for its location, beaches, convenience and price.

Arrived here on the 9th July and stayed for 6 nights. We arrived at 10.30am and our room was ready to go into. We had a free upgrade from 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom to 2 bedroom with 2 bathroom. Reception was friendly and gave us lots of maps and info about the place. Our unit was at the back facing towards the highway, but at night the traffic noise didn't seem to bother us. The units were beautifully decorated, and so happy to have a full kitchen and washing machine. Our 2 daughters loved having 80 tv channels to choose from. Location was great, 2 blocks away from harbour. After reading comments from trip advisor was going to park out on the street and not pay $15 per day parking, but after seeing the street, it always seemed quite full. Decided for convenience and parked right underneath our unit. My husband had an operation just before we arrived in Maui and was happy to sit near the pools watching television and reading books. Also used the BBQ's for dinner. The place is alot larger than what we thought, but it didn't seem to be overcrowded or noisy. The only thing was - not much signage to find pools, but soon got used to where everything is after 1 day. We want to come back to Maui next year and would definately stay here again.
