I struggle with this review because there are some great things and some really irksome things.

Overall, I was quite pleased. The price at about $110 per night was excellent. Free parking, free internet etc. The view was 6 out of 5 stars. I cannot imagine a better view from the lanai. Excellent to have freshly made coffee (from MauiGrown store) every morning. Also, go get some Big Swell IPA from the Maui guys and have a nice late afternoon drink on the lanai. Truly a million dollar view! In my opinion the condo has a antastic beach right in front of the condo - not mentioned much on tripadvisor. Daily (afternoon) visits from the turtles which you can see from the lanai. Great overall location, easy to get to. Boss Frog across the street for beach equipment rentals.

Ok, now the bad. No airconditioning. I know they warn you about that, but their advice of opening the front door and closing the screen door to let the breeze thru, just doesn't make sense because you lose all privacy. By the afternoon when the sun hits the condo, no breeze is going to cool it down and it becomes uncomfortable. Luckily for us, we spend very little time there. Final complaint, it took forever to figure out how the shower works.

So why do I say, that overall I was happy and would go back in a heartbeat! Well I am a cheap guy, and I would hate to pay hundreds more for a fancier hotel with parking fees and resort fees. Did that in Waikiki, wouldn't do it again. If you can live with the negatives, you will have a great time!

I would give it a 5, but the negatives might be too much for some. You will either love it (like me) or find it unbearable. Up to you! Have a great holiday.

We have rented directly from this owner (she owns 2) for years and are never disappointed. Updated kitchens with everything you need, laundry in the unit, and the view view view! The sound of the waves is so relaxing. This time we had daily "turtle" shows right on the beach in front. this is a quiet and friendly complex with alot of owner residents.

Room Tip: make sure you get an oceanFRONT unit

The condo owners were wonderful with information concerning Maui. Everything you could possibly wish to do was listed with little hints included.
The condo was perfect, clean, and completely updated. It was equipped as well as my own home.Shower was very upscale.
My problem was our view of the Pacific was completely obstructed by the palm trees. From the bedroom you could see a tiny portion of the water on the right.
There were 2 buildings to our right and left which put us set back on the lot. Think of a U. We were the bottom of the U. which prohibited any diagonal view of the ocean.
The unit 403 had a picture of the sunset over the ocean. It was taken from the beach not the condo. Kind of misleading.
Guess it was my fault for not inquiring. I'm very fussy about a view and this is not what I expected. Next time I'll ask.

Here is a space from which you can fully experience YOURSELF while experiencing Hawaii, as simply and authentically as if from a beach house. It seems almost that Spartan, at first, and might disappoint those more inclined towards luxurious cocoons and only a passive experience of being there. But, any who are more actively engaged, who would enjoy seeing Molokai awakening in the morning across the water, hearing Mynas, Sparrows, and Spotted Doves singing choruses to the sunrise, the gamboling of delighted children playing old fashioned games, and then kissing the sun goodnight with reds over a glass of wine or tea … WILL BE THRILLED.

AND, it took fewer than ten minutes to realize how perfect this would also be for a band of young surfers and divers to hang out after a day of frolic. While I am much too old for that, I enjoyed being inspired by those who weren’t.

The owners have tastefully and sensibly equipped the apartment with everything you need and nothing you would want to steal in a way that brilliantly, if subtly, encourages you to cultivate directly your feeling, smelling, tasting, hearing and seeing the actual Maui shore that is literally only steps away across a lawn that looks, feels and smells like it had just come from the Augusta National.

The furnishings do not intimidate and are easy to move. The couch converts to a bed if you want to sleep with the surf, but we really enjoyed the quiet of the bedroom in the back. There’s a fabulous shower. M’lady commented often on the exceptional lighting and mirroring near the dressing area sink.

We absolutely loved the place, its peace and quiet, the congeniality of the other guests. And maybe this is also largely because we are quite happy with knowing ourselves and are particularly open to experiencing the real thing first and the resort only in background. But even if you are not yet so comfortable with your simply being yourselves but would like to give it a try, this is a very good place to start.

The main reason we booked this property was because of the close proximity to the ocean. We were not disappointed. In the mornings we would travel to snorkelling spots and in the afternoon we would lay on "our beach" and watch for turtles and whales. Loved have meals on the balcony and watching from our partial garden/ ocean view. Also loved hearing the waves at night. The only thing that could have made this property better was if there was a hot tub. Will for sure book this property again.

We stayed in Valley Isle Condo 407 and loved every minute of it. We can still remember the sound of the ocean waves as we fell asleep. Probably spent hours on the balcony watching whales, turtles, and relaxing our stress away. The condo is updated, modern, and has perfect view of the ocean. True Paradise! Can't wait to go back!!!

My husband and I recently stayed for 7 nights in unit #907 at the Valley Isle. This room is owned by Vacation International. What a fantastic view of the ocean from our room and lanai! The lanai had a nice table and 4 chairs provided, and we enjoyed relaxing outside and seeing the ocean, boats, windsurfers, etc. The room itself was very clean and well decorated/furnished. There was a ceiling fan in the living area, and we also kept the lanai sliding door open (screen closed) during the night to let in the cool breeze and hear the ocean as we slept. The Murphy pull-out bed was very comfortable. The kitchen area looked updated and was well-stocked. There was an ironing board, iron, plenty of hangers, and plenty of towels provided. The beach area in front of the condo is very nice and we enjoyed seeing 4 sea turtles who had come up onto the beach area on several different days throughout our stay. We had a wonderful, relaxing, very enjoyable time at the Valley Isle, and the room was exceptional in every way!

Room Tip: We have stayed here before in a ground level room, and although it was very nice as well, the views...
