This was perhaps the best stay we have had at the Westin Villas. When we arrived and saw the room it was not quite what we wanted. We went to the front desk and spoke to Ohia (front desk associate). She spent the time to get us another room and made sure it was what we wanted. It was also my wife's birthday during our stay and she even sent a basket of goodies to her. Ohia was great and helped us make it an unforgettable trip. Thank you from the Baker family.

We rented a studio at the north complex - the two complexes are adjacent. Unit has a nice layout, mini-kitchen with stove, full size fridge, microwave and other needed amenities. Place holds 4 via sofa-bed but that would be a squeeze - it was fine for two of us.
The pools and beach area are excellent. A reef is literally right there with great snorkeling. The staff was helpful and friendly. Had dinner at Monday night poolside BBQ at adjacent Westin - enjoyed it. Did not get any ownership sales press - had one meeting with concierge, explained we were not interested in owning, and that was that.
Resort runs a shuttle down to Lahaina that stops at a couple other properties and shopping area - very convenient. A car is nice to have, but if you are not driving Hana and Haleakala, you could stay here without a car. The Safeway grocery store at the Lahaina Cannery Mall is a good place to stock your villa - south just before Lahaina and also on the shuttle. Resort has small grocery & sundries store on-site. It's a nice place but expect to pay for the convenience.
One minor annoyance here - people reserve lounge chairs with a towel, sandal or a book early in the morning and staff does not police this - even though the signs say they do. It's as bad as a cruise ship.
Other than that, we would still stay here again.

Room Tip: At the north complex, buildings #5 & 8 have best ocean views. These are typically made availabl...

Once again a classic stay in Maui at the Westin Villas, 6 years and counting... Can't beat the conveniences of this property. Everything is at your finger tips and if it isn't its a short walk or drive! Great environment for kids, snooba is great for introducing the bottom of the ocean to kids. Fantastic staff everywhere at the resort.

Oh ya kids program is great too!

Room Tip: Choose building 3 facing the parking lot (park really), sounds offal but it gets you a view of the o...

We had a one bedroom oceanfront villa in building 8. It was close to the beech where there was fantastic snorkeling. The resort was very clean from the pools, to the BBQ, to the room. The restaurants were a little spendy, but no more than other places on Maui. The room was mostly quiet. There were a couple of times we could hear neighbors moving chairs on their lanai. Overall a great stay.

The Westin Kaanapali ORV is a FAMILY resort. If you are going there to relax as a couple, be prepared to have children around in everything except for the spa. The grounds are beautiful and its location on Kaanapali is wonderful. The staff are very friendly and helpful - a veritable army of concierge staff are available around the clock. The restaurants are good except for the Pelehu which is not very Italian and very over priced. The ahi sandwich at the Pool Side Grill was great. We had a therapeutic massage as a couple and it was excellent. The spa facilities are very good.

We went on one of the five day deals, which is really a way for them to get you to the resort and cued up for the time share pitch which is about one and a half to two hours. This became a bit much at the end when they tried to sell you your next vacation at regular price when they found out they couldn't sell you a week of time share between $30-$120K.

It is a beautiful resort and if you want everything at your finger tips this is your place.

The beach out front of the hotel has excellent snorkelling and awesome sunsets.

Room Tip: The complex is divided into Villas South and Villas North. North is the new section. The inner cou...

This is probably one of my favourite resorts on Maui. I purchased this vacation through a Westin promotion over a year ago and stayed here for 5 nights this past June. Upon arrival, I received an upgrade from studio suite to a one bedroom suite with ocean view. The suite was difficult to get to at the beginning due to the layout of the resort but after figuring out where to park, it was easy to get to. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed and the kitchen was well supplied. The service was top notch from the bellman to the check-in desk, pool staff and restaurants. The bellman helped us to deliver our luggage and even helped us with our Costco supplies. The pool area was spacious with multiple pools and it never felt crowded. The beach in front of the resort was beautiful and the snorkeling here was very good, with abundant corals. Even Wi-Fi is accessible on the beach if you are close enough to the resort. This is the place to stay in Maui.
