We visited the end of April 2013 and stayed in Unit 203 at the Mahina Surf. Our two bedroom two bathroom condo was very well maintained, and the kitchen equipped with everything one would need, including herbs and spices. The pictures on their website is exactly what the inside looks like, very nice. The location was awesome as we really enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the whales. The grounds are nicely landscaped and maintained, and the pool area is large and attractive. You can sit at the pool and the view of the ocean is right in front of you. They have grills next to the water so you can grill and watch the sunset. All the units face the water so the view from your deck is awesome. The staff are wonderful and was very helpful when booking and during our stay. Mahina Surf is on rocky ocean front – could watch the giant turtles as they come in every day to lay on the rocks. This place was exactly what I was hoping for, didn’t want a big resort, was looking for something smaller and more personable, perfect pick. It is an older resort but very well maintained and the condo we had was all updated. Wouldn't think twice about staying here again.
