“A great walk”

If you like a walk along the ocean in the strong trade winds then this is the one for you. Good footing and well marked.

“Great walk”

Great walk with pretty views. Check out all the resorts. Well maintained. Lots of good picture spots. Go early as it gets HOT. Especially in the summer.

“Beautiful”

It is a great walking trail. Not hard but I recommend good shoes and allowing enough time to thoroughly enjoy the trail.

“Nice trail”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 July 2014

If you stay on the trial, it is a nice scenic walk. If you go off on some of the outshoots, it is slightly more adventurous, and the scenery can be even better. A lot of nice photo ops. On one side of the trail is upscale hotels and houses, and the other side is the ocean front. A scenic walk that is not all that difficult

“Very Cool. Don't stop at the Blow Hole”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2014

The Kapalua Coastal Trail is supposed to take you to Dragon's Teeth, behind the Ritz Carlton and to the Blowhole at Mile Marker 38 and end there. Your rental agreement says you can't go any further but that's not really the case. Yes, the road is narrow and winding but we made it to Boat Head Rock, somewhere around Mile Marker 47 and the views are stunning. This is the remote, undeveloped areas of Hawaii you will see used in shows like Lost and Hawaii Five-0 when they need to show the lush, remote parts of the islands. Well worth the drive. Just watch out for the guys offering a cold drink of coconut milk around mile marker 40. They'll try to hit you up for $10 for the coconut.
