“Hang Loose Surf Club”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 August 2014

My two daughters (ages 18 and 11) and I took stand up paddle board lessons (SUP) at Hang Loose Surf Club in Lahaina, Maui and couldn't be more pleased. Chad is one of the most experienced surf and SUP instructors on the island and we thought he was great! We had a great time! I would highly recommend this place!

very nice shops with lots of local art, or even an outlet center perfectly integrated in the local buildings

“Fun Shopping, Limited Parking”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 August 2014

Front street is the main drag and has a number of fun restaurants, shops and terrific people watching.
Parking is very limited so either go early or be prepared to pay up or drive around looking for a spot.

“Good dining options”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 August 2014

And a good place to shop for souvenirs. There is an outlet mall a couple of blocks off.

My family came here twice for dinner - Teppanyaki and Indian.

Worth a visit if only for the oceanview and sunset.

“Touristy but nice”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 August 2014

Front Street is very touristy, kinda like Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, but it's not huge, and the stores are a mix of low-end and high-end and everything in-between. Good for souvenirs, gifts, t-shirts, jewelry, art, and eating. Also, many tour operators are located at the harbor, for boating trips to nearby places as well as to Lanai and Molokai.
