We've never seen anything like this. One tree that has taken root in so many places it fills the whole park! The photo ops just never stopped. This one is free, folks--just wander around and be amazed!

You can stroll under the tree for a long time in wonder of it all. We visited the old Courthouse on same grounds with lots of history of the plantation era and WWII. We love the history of it all!! Of course you are just across the street from many stores and restaurants and the harbor.

Fascinating place in the middle of Lahaina. The tree is someting real special to Watch.
The place is also a cool and shady place to rest on a hot day, located in a central place in the pittoreque city or Lahaina.

The park itself had a lot of shady people hanging around and at night, the tree was a home to a million birds. Needless to say I would walk thru there at night!

It's not quite the Redwoods, but if you've never seen a Banyan tree, you'll be impressed. Also, there is a nice little museum at the park worth checking out.
