“Nice Dinner Cruise”
Reviewed 26 September 2013

Nice 2 1/2 hr sunset dinner cruise w/ sunset views of Maui & Lanai. Nice big boat. Saw dolphins. A singer w/ an electric guitar did a nice job playing classic rocks from the 70s & 80s like the Eagles. Crew & wait staff were all pleasant. Food was good but not excellent. I like my food hot, but it was lukewarm only. But we felt like we paid for the atmosphere of a sunset cruise more than the meal. They told at they would try to get us a rail seat for the best view but ended up w/ a middle seat which was somewhat disappointing. Still we enjoyed the evening & may do it again.

“Great 1/2 Day Snorkeling Trip”
Reviewed 6 September 2013

We were very happy with this morning snorkeling trip to the island of Lanai. Capt. Dave and his crew were fun, yet safety minded and knowledgeable. They took us to one coral reef near Lanai and then back to another dive spot near Maui. Both were great. They had lots of basic snorkel gear as well as additional safety flotation devices. We saw tons of local sea life! They also fed us in the morning and later for lunch. Thanks for a great experience.

“Great value, educational, and fun”
Reviewed 20 August 2013

We booked the Lahaina Cruise for the Lanai Snorkel trip. Capt. David and his crew made for an exceptional tour. It was a beautiful day, and the views were fantastic. Capt. David and crew were knowledgeable, providing facts on the islands. The crew was concerned about safety and ensured a great experience. Breakfast & lunch was provided which was amazing for the price. It was a great day.

“Great Time”
Reviewed 18 July 2013

My wife booked us on the Sunset Cocktail Cruise and it was fabulous. The crew was very friendly and kept a great atmosphere going the entire cruise. They woiuld help you with whatever you wanted, bring you drinks or food. You get 2 free drinks and all the poo poo's you can eat along with other snack foods. The cruise was over 2 1/2 hours long and we got to see an awesome sunset off Moloki. We had a great time and I am sure we will be booking them again on our next return trip to Maui.

“Best family/adult snorkel trip ever...made us feel like "ohana"”
Reviewed 28 June 2013

We booked though the Lahaina Cruise Company for the Lanai Snorkel trip. Capt. David Girvin and his crew Raquel, Lily and Meric aboard the Kaulana made for an exceptional tour of the waters off Lanai and Maui! Capt. David and all his crew were very knowledgeable, providing facts about all the islands and surrounding waters, making this not only a snorkeling venture but also sightseeing tour. We were even able to see the top of the Big Island! My husband and I took our 7 year old daughter. This was her first time snorkeling. She had so much fun with the help of Lily personally helping her make adjustments to her mask and Raquel helping us find sea turtles. I felt very safe as Capt. Dave was very clear and instructional about what to do if anyone aboard needed help while on board or in the water. Capt. Dave did his best to ensure a smooth sail...very few sick people on board. Breakfast and Lunch were excellent. We tend to be picky about our BBQ. Lily's burgers and chicken were thoroughly cooked and not burnt. Finally, eating aboard the Kaulana was a pleasure with table style seating opposed to rows of benches as found on other ships like the Pride of Maui! Capt. Dave advised against the "famed" Molokini for snorkeling due to lack of fish. We found this proved to be true a few days later when we sailed with the Pride of Maui and saw very little of anything at Molokini. BTW don't go with Pride of Maui...they cram a ton of people on their boats and just dump you off...very impersonal. THANK YOU Capt. Dave, Raquel, Lily and Meric for making us feel more like friends than customers!!
