Review

We ve stayed here for 10 days for our honeymoon. I wrote the manager a week and a half before getting here asking him if it would be possible to get a condo without carpet as i am very allergic to dust. He said he can t promise anything but considering that s our honeymoon he ll make an extra effort on our behalf... He even forwarded the e mail and asked a lady named Angie to make sure we ll have some champagne and chocolate when we arrive,he asked a guy named "Dale" to make sure they take into consideration what i asked. When we got here there of course was carpet in the living and bedroom, the kitchen was updated, bathroom too but the looked very sloppy, the corners were dusty and looked dirty... I was sneezing all the time when i was inside and did not make it for a nice relaxing time! And of course no champagne nor chocolate!
during our stay we had the housekeeper come clean every other day and never asked to do the bedroom, so they had less to clean when they came,Every time we left a tip for them... They would not leave shampoo conditioner soap or coffee for the next day... I had to leave notes and call the front desk every time...
Every single morning the landscaping guys were out doing work around 7am, you could not enjoy one quiet morning!
Then the only restaurant opened in the complex closed for remodeling a day after we got here... That was a bummer bcs every time we had to go for drinks or dinner or lunch somewhere else....
Elevators are dated and very very slow!
There is a timeshare presentation at 8am every morning and are being very loud .
The front desk lady who checked us in (kate? Katie?) was very very nice and helpful.
So all in all it seems like a nice place with pools that u could use that were clean, there s a place where u could rent cabanas, beach chairs, boards and snorkeling gear which was nice, the location is perfect and they say Ka'anapali beaches are among the best beaches in maui! In the mornings u can find the most beautiful colors of the ocean here!

This is a great place. It's clean, it has great gardens and a very friendly staff. The rooms are clean and Castaways is a wonderful restaurant with an amazing wine list.
Sad to hear that September to November of 2014 is renovation time complete with way too much jack hammering.

When evaluating the price of our stay, the location of the hotel, the size of the rooms, helpfulness of the staff, and the quality of the food, we were very pleased. I would recommend the Aston Maui Kaanapali Villas without hesitation.

We loved this place. We were here for a short 5 days the week prior to Thanksgiving. It was convenient to Lahaina, yet peaceful and quiet. The villa was beautiful furnished and well maintained. The living room furniture was not the most comfortable, but we did not use it much. Having a full kitchen was great, and saved $$ on our eating out for every meal. The beach was convenient, the pools and spa were very pleasant.

Room Tip: We requested an ocean view studio, and received a one bedroom apt with a spectacular ocean view.

My husband and I stayed here for 9 days and returned last week. We came to Maui because our daughter got married right next door at the Royal Lahaina Resort. We chose this place because we could use it as part of our time share trade. We originally booked a loft one bedroom. After reviewing this site we decided to tour some rooms upon our arrival. So glad we did. There was an ocean view condo available which was much better then our original choice. We paid a few dollars a night extra but it was oh so worth it. We had a fantastic appointed kitchen, a beautiful updated living room with a dining table overlooking the partial ocean view. We were actually in a corner so enjoyed cross breezes throughout. The bedroom was large and the bathroom VERY large with a glass block shower, 2 sinks, several closets, etc. The only drawback would be that this unit had a "Juliet Balcony" so you couldn't sit out on it. The glass sliding doors opened all across the unit so we just pulled chairs up to the doorways and brought the outdoors in. The service outstanding and daily cleaning. Parking was free. Daily resort fee $15 but there are 2 pools, laundry and an exercise room. We walked to the ocean and the beach not crowded in front of the resort. It's also part of the boardwalk Beach Walk so we enjoyed that as well. This isn't an ultra fancy resort but I must say it was much more updated then our family and friends had next door at the Royal Lahaina. It only took us 3 minutes to walk there and I'm so happy we stayed here instead.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 512 in the tower. You can hear road noise on one side of the tower but we faced th...

Wow-we loved this place. It was far better than we actually expected. The rooms were quaint, not so modern but really comfortable and the kitchen was fantastic. We are chefs by profession and even the kitchen knife set impressed us! We have recommended this property to all our friends and especailly the ones with children as the lay out is family friendly and perfect for family vacations as the resort is spacious. Hey thats saying something from a cuple that don't have kids to be recommending to take your kids.
Local shopping mall is well adequate and you can stock up well and get a good coffee near by also.
Would definately go back and wish we had stayed longer!

Room Tip: We would preferred a ocean view room, now knowing how close they actually are to the shore line. Gar...

Fantastic condo and location. We recently stayed for 7 nights and the only problem was that it was not long enough. Originally booked a "Premium" unit and on viewing it, it was just lovely but it did not have a balcony big enough to sit out on, which is important to us when on holiday to relax and read on. So we asked if they had any others closer to beach and pool and we were shown a great condo ( although not as big or as nice as the premium condo) in the Dolphin building on the second floor. It made up for the premium condo by its location and having a balcony with a terrific view of the beach and pool. The location is stunning, staff were all friendly and very helpful. We ate a few times at Castaway it was fine, it was good not to go off the property if we wanted to eat. The pool was good and the beach just steps away. We would definitely consider coming back to this property.

Room Tip: Loved having a sea view.
