this is our second year staying here, and enjoy the condo and the access to the beach, which is one of our favorites on the island.

We have stayed in 107 and 207 and have had no complaints. Be warned that there is no air conditioning, but it isn't really a deal-breaker. And the place is noisy: not in a bad way, but birds, surf, voices tend to wake me up about 7, which is sleeping in for me, so i don't care. Nice and quiet after 10pm.

Napili is kinda away from everything, so you will have more driving time, especially as traffic on the island is nuts.

This was the first time my family had traveled to Hawaii. I had looked to book at the Fairmont but was taken aback at the price for five people. I saw the Napili Surf Beach Resort on Trip Advisor and was impressed at the rating and the price. We have loved it here. If you are looking for a ten story building with someone to spritz you at the pool this place is not for you. If you are looking for a wonderful, friendly hotel run by locals this is the place for you. It is on the beach, great paddle boarding and snorkeling with lots of turtles. The staff is so nice and helpful. They really work hard to make your stay memorable. The drinks on Wed. night, donuts and coffee on Friday morning were great. The accommodations are nice, each room has a patio. The general manager is new and could not be more helpful. He had lots of tips for us in planning our road to Hana trip and for paddle boarding. We hope one day to return to Maui, it is remarkably beautiful. We look forward to coming back to Napili Surf.

Room Tip: ask for a room that faces the ocean, closer the better.

We couldn't be happier with our resort stay on Maui. After a week of adventure and thrill in Oahu we came to Maui to relax and sit back and Napili Surf Beach Resort was the place to do it. The condos were clean and well kept, the staff was friendly, and the private pools were enjoyed by the young children in our group. The resort is on the beach and has a beautiful sunset to watch in the evening. Be careful of the strength of the waves as they crash right on the shore but I would recommend this to anyone who is going to Maui. Yes, there is no air conditioning but with the cross breeze in our rooms, there is absolutely no need! Swim near the rocky parts of the beach off to the side and you can swim right up to the large sea turtles and see plenty of beautiful fish. We would go back!

The location on Napili Bay was wonderful! We stayed in a studio garden room with a pool outside our door, in the building just in back of the main units. Although we didn't have a view of the beach, our lanai had the advantage of being quiet and more affordable. We often made breakfast or lunch in our kitchen and took our meal out to the lovely chairs or picnic table on the property overlooking the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked. They had a great blender for making smoothies. This is a small hotel with a friendly manager and reception staff. We thought it was so much better than the big high rise resorts. The manager is very knowledgable about the area and had many good suggestions for us. We rented a paddle board from 808 which was delivered to us. We were happy with the instructions and help we received from 808. Napili Bay is perfect for the beginner paddle boarder and snorkeler. Turtles abound! We could walk to the restaurant, Sea House, on the same bay and we enjoyed a sunset meal there. A free morning yoga class is offered on Wednesday mornings along with complimentary Mai Tai cocktails in the evening on Wednesdays to promote guests getting to know each other. Loved the maid service too! We will return here on our next trip to Maui.

Off the beaten path, with a beach and 2 pools. Full kitchens, comfortable beds. Fast internet. Free parking. Free Mai Tais in the evening. Not for the young, hip, honeymooner crowd. Unless you want to save money. Rooms are big. There's no air conditioner. Get over it. You could pay a lot more and do a lot worse.

Stayed on first floor room for five days end of June. I would definitely recommend this resort for families and couples with the caveat that the first floor does not give you much privacy due to the lack of Air conditioning and open windows. Would advise folks to choose a room with a balcony on the second floor as it allows more air flow and more privacy. It is an older resort but also was cleaner and friendlier as a result of catering to many years of returning guests. We were invited to a retirement party that the staff and community threw for the longtime manager. There was also a lovely morning buffet on the lawn while we were there. The beach and tidal pools were literally yards away and snorkeling with the sea turtles in the adjacent bay was breathtaking. This place literally looks like you just walked into a Maui postcard! Lahaina is close enough to visit and plenty of restaurants and history for all pocket books. Will definitely return to visit!

We stayed here for 5 nights after 5 nights at the Grand Wailea for our honeymoon. This place is so much better it is unbelievable. Room was fantastic and very clean, included a fridge and full kitchen and great ocean views from the deck. Quick access to the nearby beach, was fantastic for snorkeling and paddleboarding. Also close to great restaurants like Merrimans.

The value of this hotel for price was fantastic. We will definately return to this hotel.

Room Tip: Ocean view rooms are worth the extra cost.
