Amazing B&B. All the amenities you can think of. Snorkel gear, body board, beach towels, beach chairs and more. Breakfast was a feast of fruit, muffins, cereal, beagles, eggs, yogurt and more.
Rooms were very clean, hot tub was great. Loved the big screen tv and movie collection.
Pool. A salt water pool. WOW!!! A+ experience. Would not hesitate to recommend The Maui Guest House.

The house is beautifully decorated with tropical island theme. The rooms have beautiful stained glass and a "soft" tub (hot tub). The place is very well run. Tanna and her staff help you in any way they can. Each day starts with some fresh fruit , muffins and Hawaiian coffee. The house is situated about two blocks uphill from the beach. There is a Safeway close by if you want to get your own groceries and make your own meals. You have access to the entire kitchen with all appliances and also the barbecue on the deck. The pool is a nice touch, if you want to cool off from the afternoon sun! You also have access to snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach mats, water noodles and beach towels. You can do laundry if you need to. Free internet and long distance calling to USA and Canada. The place really feels like you live in Lahaina. Most of the other people staying there were return guests. So, that shows it's a great place. I would recommend this place to anyone!

You can judge a business by its repeat business, and this is my 17th year for staying at the original Guest House B & B on Maui. If you are tired of cold, expensive hotels with non-responsive staff, this might be the place for you. It is a spacious house with open living and dining. The deck is spacious with a pool and cookout area. The rooms are very clean, private and quiet. Best of all I enjoy having your own private enclosed patio and hot tub. The staff is available 24/7, but not hovering. You really do get a sense that it is your own house and immediately feel comfortable. It is close to the best beaches on Maui and historic Lahaina. Many other guests are repeat customers and I have made some nice friendships over the years. The choice to mingle with other guests or be more private is yours. The staff will do everything to make your experience what you hope it will be. For what you get here at the Guest House you will not find better rates in the Lahaina area.

For those who stay at your favorite places time after time because they feel like 'home', this is it. From the time we walked in, the staff, the other guests and the house itself made it feel like it was ours. The location, tours, breakfast, rooms, etc were all excellent - can't be beat. The 2 things that sold me the most, however, were Tanna, Debby and Robert (and the 125% they gave us) and that everything - absolutely everything - you would want in your own home on Maui, was provided for you. Enjoy your '2nd home' in Maui by staying at the Guest House.

My husband and I just returned from the Maui Guest House, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The house itself is lovely. It's in a quiet residential area very close to the ocean and central to Lahaina and Ka'anapali. We took a walk along the water one morning to the Jodo mission and saw several turtles and humpback whales along the way. Each room has its own hot tub, and is very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious - Kona coffee, fresh fruit and muffins, and several kinds of cereal. But the staff is what makes the Guest House so special. We were in Maui for my brother's wedding, and they were able to provide excellent recommendations for the reception site, rehearsal dinner, and photographer. They also booked all of our activities through Trinity Tours; which included two dive trips, a Luau, a day sail to Lanai, and a sunrise bicycle tour of Mount Haleakala. Our other family members weren't staying at the Guest House but were able to call Trinity Tours and get added to our reservations. To say Tanna, Debby and Robert were accomodating would be a huge understatement. They did everything they could to make our stay as good as it could be. If we are lucky enough to make it back to Maui again, we will definitely stay at the Guest House.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and there was no noise from other guests. The little extras that were provided for time spent at the beach were really nice.

Felt like home the moment we walked in! The staff was all so helpful (especially Debbie!). The guest house provided free long distance calls, internet, snorkel gear, boogie boards, coolers, beach chairs... they've really thought of everything! The house itself had a very nice common area with a full kitchen, BBQ, pool, couches, TV. The rooms had gorgeous stained glass in the windows, and very nice vaulted ceilings. When we go back to Maui will would never think of staying anywhere else!
