My husband and myself share a condominium with my sister and brother-in-law. We enjoy the beauty and calmness of this site. The view from our condo (120) can't be beat anywhere on the island. You only have t short walk to the pool or to snorkel. There are turtles swimming around the cove all of the time. There is nowhere to go for a better meal than to bar b q your own and eat outside your room overlooking the cove. Shopping and sightseeing are close at hand.

Room Tip: Room 120 has the best view of all, other great ones are 218 and 219

Aloha,
thank you for your review. I can tell that you are now spoiled by the view at #120. Don't forget to book early to make sure that same unit will be available. If not we have many other wonderful units with awesome views. I look forward to seeing you again at Honokeana Cove.

If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the Hawaii lifestyle, this is it. You can enjoy the fantastic view every morning while enjoying your coffee. You can also enjoy some of the best snorkeling in Maui. The sea life is abundant. Some places boast of having sea turtles. You might see one or two. Here you can snorkel with more than you can count. There are also eels and fish galore.

The property is very well maintained and the service from the staff is great. I can't wait for another chance to go there.

Room Tip: The upper floor condos are the best. It gives you a good view of the cove.

It was wonderful to be back at Honokeana Cove this year. We went to one other condo complex during repairs and it couldn't compete with Honokeana. It's like a home away from home for us. Su and Greg are very professional and friendly. We consider them friends.

We'll be back!!!!!!

Room Tip: All of the units are comparable. It depends on whether you have two or a family of 10 or more.

This is the absolute best place to stay in Maui. The condos provide a wonderful view of the ocean with sea turtles sticking their heads up every morning to say hello. Snorkeling with them is a blast. Our condo had all of the comforts of home and the staff was amazing. This has now become our yearly vacation spot. Aloha

Room Tip: I love staying in an upper room. I feel that i have a better view of the turtles that way. I would advise staying in a lower room if stairs might be a problem. The lower rooms have direct access to the pool area though. Nice.

Honokeana Bay area is wonderful regardless which resort you stay in and the people in the area are wonderful and very friendly. Many people from the Honokeana Cove Condominiums would walk through the Napili Point Resort on their way to the beach and we were staying at the resort on the main floor and we would smile and say good-morning to them as they passed. When we went to the Honokeana Cove Condos to gain access to the Bay through a safer route than the rocky shore on Napili Point, we were met with a stern "no", access is not available unless you are staying at Honokeana Cove or are a guest. Although, the easy access is on the Cove property, it would be very nice to have access if you are staying at Napili Point Resort. We are not overly particular on where we stay in Hawaii and would choose either resort with confidence, both have their strengths definitely, but we were kind of disappointed with Honokeana Cove because of the bay access restrictions. Given that all beaches are public in Hawaii we were surprised by the limitations especially for a close neighbour whose property your tenants occupy to get to the Napili Beach. Also, the spot light that glares on your lawn towards Napili Resort is very bright and you may not be aware that it points to the Napili Resort 2nd floor and is quite annoying to some of their tenants (we met a nice couple on the 2nd floor that was very angry about the light).

Aloha,
Thank you for your comments regarding our property, Honokeana Cove. We would love to have you actually stay with us and experience what our return guests experience...."Aloha".
Our property is a private property and the gates are placed for security reasons. You are right about public access and that is why we are lobbying the County of Maui to provide a "user friendly" access on the easements that are already in place on either side of our property. All lighting on our property are for security and insurance liability.
Mahalo
