“Beautiful surroundings”
Reviewed 9 February 2014

This little art gallery is in such a beautiful area in Makawao, just outside the hustle/bustle of downtown Maui. It is full of local artists work, jewelry, paintings and sculptures. Great place to look around and view the art work, some expensive, some reasonable. There is also a wonderful gift shop one can purchase local art work that won't break the bank. I purchased a beautiful large necklace/choker made of sea shells that was very reasonable thinking it looked as if it would cost over $100.00, it was $25.00. If you are able to travel around Maui by car, this would be a nice place to stop and take a look around. One of the most fascinating attractions is the large vines that have been shaped into round, artistic bales that look unreal yet were salvaged after drying out and shaped into these wonderful, extremely large balls or bales.

“Worth the stop”
Reviewed 7 February 2014

A small exhibit space, but the art is well presented. Grounds and setting are beautiful. If you are staying for several weeks in the area it would be a good place to take lessons or use their studio space.

Great gallery and gift shop. Working artists and shows. Art for sale. And the grounds are gorgeous. The staff are informed and friendly. Worth the side trip.

“Juried Show”
Reviewed 3 March 2013

Lots of Art in Maui is Art in name only - incredibly bad art. The juried show had 100 items that were excellent. I didn't like everything, but it was real art, not kitchy, not slapdash, not just "pretty". It was very refreshing to see. They also were holding open studios and we goot to meet some of the artists in residence.
