This inn was very nice, in a very interesting little surfer town that is the starting point of the Road to Hana. We stayed in a deluxe room, which was nice and very comfortable. But, the best part of this inn was not the room, but the absolutely FANTASTIC staff who were just amazing. The service was beyond friendly, and we felt like we were at home with family. Much of our interaction was with Carly, who was terrific ... but, it truly was the service that will bring us back to the Paia Inn!!

BTW, some great little places to eat in Paia, and a fantastic family place in Wakawao (the Steakhouse) that is worth the drive up the road.

We will surely make this Inn our "home away from home" the next time we travel to Maui.

A hidden gem that provides guests with a variety of rooms and a unique style. Great for surfers and shoppers, and just for those who want to relax. They think of everything from lawn chairs to a beach bag in the room. Hot coffee from Anthony's Coffee shop is also free and available in abundance in the mornings :)

We spent the last 2 nights of our honeymoon at the Paia Inn, and they were two of the most relaxing days and nights that we had the whole trip. I'm so glad my wife talked me into heading here as we originally planned instead of going back to the 'big resort' for the last couple days of our honeymoon like I wanted to. There are so many great things to say about Paia Inn. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The town of Paia is a very cool little spot with great shops and some fantastic restaurants (don't miss Flatbread and Paia Fish Market!!). The Hotel itself is awesome. The rooms were super clean, beds were very comfy, location is perfect, coffee and muffins in the morning were great to munch on while walking around town, and we loved the private beach access along with the beach chairs and toys available for hotel guests. It didn't work out for us due to some cancellations with other activities, but this would be a great place to stay when doing the road to Hana.

Loved the ambience and hospitality of Paia Inn and the town itself, I knew I hadn't given myself enough time here and considered changing our flights to stay longer however it wasn't an option unfortunately!

If you are a fan of the mega resorts where you are just one of the herd fighting for a pool chair, Paia Inn is not for you. Paia Inn is for adventurous travelers who want to find that secret special place the masses dont know about.... yet!

We originally booked a junior suite and while it was very nice and tasteful, we opted to upgrade to their lovely 2 br beach house. Best upgrade we ever did! We loved waking up to the sound of the ocean outside our window. We couldnt ask for a better place to stay.

The staff goes out of their way to make you feel like a true guest in their home. From the moment we checked in, we felt like valued guests rather than just a dollar sign. Thats rare these days!

Paia is a lovely town that is a throwback to the old Hawaii. Cute boutiques, organic grocery stores, and delicious restaurants all make the entire Paia Inn experience one of our best trips ever.

We stayed at the Paia Inn between our trip from Hana to Lahaina. We stayed in the one bedroom, which was more like a small apartment, that was very nice and a great size. Full kitchen and patio area was an unexpected addition. The staff is friendly and even made dinner reservations for us.

The only thing that i would suggest to management is fixing the fan in the bedroom, it was louder than normal fans...but we could have just put the A/C on which the rooms comes with.

Wow! I had been wanting to try something different during my stay in Maui and this time I did. I have always loved Paia and saw other travelers reviews and had to try it for myself. Boy am I glad I did. From the first phone call to make a reservation and each contact once we arrived the service was fantastic. We had the petite room which is quite small, but it was lovely and functional. The artwork displayed throughout is amazing and the location is perfect for Paia. Right in the heart of town. This boutique hotel is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long flight. Be sure to get a cup of complimentary coffee and a muffin and walk down the cool path to the beach for sunrise,
What a great start to our vacation!

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The postcard perfection of Maui’s North Shore (white sand beaches, raging waterfalls, stylish cafes, and world-class surfers) just got even better with the opening of the Paia Inn. This beach town boutique inn seamlessly blends modern amenities with the historic character of its building. In a nod to the town’s plantation trade days, the building’s exterior has retained its charm with tin rooftops and rustic hues; yet, the interior mixes contemporary island furnishings with the chic lushness of the W Hotel. ... more   less
