When I first walked into Mana Foods and saw the shelves of good chocolate to my left, I knew I found the perfect grocery store. They have several varieties of Ritter Sport chocolate, some of which I've seen only at the Ritter Sport store in Waldenbuch Germany. That aside, as others have written, they have an extensive array of packaged, fresh, and prepared foods in addition to vitamins and homeopathic remedies. We were staying in Paia so stopped by often at different times of day and it was always busy but the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful. Definitely the best store in Maui.

we were surprised about the combination of high quality food and grocery and the relatively low prices. organic top chocolate bars are probably 50% cheaper than in big comparable chains on Maui. i had some great Thai curry lunch. pretty much all employees all seem to have a hippie pedigree with a great attitude to customer service and very friendly!
i was very happy to see a lot of local product especially local cheese from a company named Maui cheese company. If they did some raw milk cheese now that would be so great!

I love Mana foods, while the store is quite small and almost always packed it is definitely worth the trip to come here for groceries while on Maui. They have a a good variety of vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and organic products. The produce here is mostly local and costs much less than any of the chain grocery stores on island. They also have a deli/bakery and hot food bar with many vegan and gluten free selections. I was quite surprised to find quinoa pasta here for almost $2.00 less per package than from a big box retailer here on the mainland. Even if you are not staying in the Pa'ia area it is well worth the drive to shop at Mana.

Visited mana foods for the first time today! Was very pleased with the product and the prices. This store was fully stocked with everything you could think of all at very reasonable prices. It was quite cramped and busy but worth it. Other stores on the island selling the same products are quite a bit more expensive, mana foods also has very good gluten free baked goods!
