“Great aquarium”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

Decently priced, and well laid out. You start the tour in the shallows, and descend deeper as you walk through the exhibits. We timed it right and were at the shark tank when the diver was in the water with the sharks, Rays, and many other larger fish. He has a microphone in his mask, and answers questions as well as describes the fish he's swimming with.
You can rent a handheld "guide" for a couple bucks, where you enter codes found above all the exhibits for more information, but only one person at a time can hear it, so we ended up not even using it. It was great seeing all the different marine life, a lot of which we also saw when we went snorkeling the next few days! Staff were all very friendly, entire area was clean. Great parking. Really enjoyed our time there.

“You have to see the sharks”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

A very interesting center where all the sea fauna and flora are represented in a great and natural display. Do not miss the sharks and rays tank where a live interaction with divers is done at certain times. A very interesting part is too look at the jelly fish in a superb lighting experiment.
They have a restaurant and a nice shop at the exit.

“Must see”

Explore & learn about the ocean and everything that lives in it. From walking thru glass tunnel filed with sharks, fish, coral. To holding sea creatures in your hand. Smell a turtle s breath, lol! A big turtle swimming area for honu's! Great fun. Rain or shine or just a break from the intense Sun.

“good way to spend time before late night flight”
Reviewed 6 June 2014

We visited to kill some time during our day before late night flight. we had been here in 2008 as well. It is a nice diversion, especially for younger kids. I wish they would post more signage about the types of fish in each tank as we found ourselves asking at each stop, "I wonder what type of fish this is?" and isn't that point of the point of an aquarium? There were several exhibits that were not working but only 2-3 of the many they had. Plenty to see. great touch tide pool and shark tunnel. a little pricey for a 2 hour attraction but we were out of the elements for a while.

“Small but Great displays”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

Yes, it is small, but it's a small island, so what would I expect? Well, they've done a great job in displaying the local fish. We first went snorkeling a couple of time and loved it but did't see a fourth of the fish we saw at the aquarium. The best, is that we could take clear pictures (without flash, of course) and really enjoy studying the fish. Turtles weren't as exciting as the ones we encountered in Kahana in the ocean. Loved the shark tank...glad we didn't encounter them in the ocean!
