“Coconut Trees”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 July 2014

Not much to really see, we actually went past it several times as we did the island. If you have never seen coconuts on a tree, it is interesting.

“Peaceful and historic surroundings”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2014

Loved this park. Took lots of photos of the beautiful palm trees. Do respect the sign suggesting that you be aware of falling coconuts. I looked up occasionally just to be on the safe side.

“Good place for photos and picking up coconuts to mail home”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 January 2014

You can't enter the park anymore, but you can drive down a road to the west of the park and take photos of tons and tons of palm trees and find some fallen coconuts on the ground.

“great place for a sunset photo”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 August 2013

Got to get out here before the sun sets which is about 7p.m. in July. Heard that there used to be more palm trees out here and the views were much better, but the one we saw was just as good. You need to stop your car, get off and wander into the coconut grove. You feel very small amongst all the tall coconut trees. Use your camera to shoot photos up at the trees with the ever changing colors of the evening sunset that reflects on the coconut trees but also watch out for possible falling coconuts!
I have never had such an encounter with so many coconut trees at once! Must stop while in the Kaunakakai area during sunset time.

“Ok if you've never seen a coconut grove”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 May 2013

This is a small coconut grove right on the highway near Kaunakakai. Nothing really special, but ok for a quick stop if you've never seen one before.
