“Pricey but good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 July 2014 via mobile

Yes, you'll pay 13 bucks for a meal that won't exactly fill you up all the way. However, you have a view of a mountain, there are birds everywhere, and its good shrimp. I would suggest going to north shore beach first so you work up an appetite. The shrimp will taste better and you'll enjoy the atmosphere. I'd recommended it if you're in the area, but don't come to this side of the island just to try it.

“Good stop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2014

This place was recommended in Oahu Revealed. The place was a little hard to find as it is not on the main drag with all the other shops. It is next to the 7/11. We enjoyed the shrimp (garlic and spicy). In the end we both preferred the garlic. We found the price fair for what you received. We also tried two other shrimp trucks and this one fell in the middle of our favorite’s list. We would go back.

“Average Lunch, but Overpriced”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2014

At the end of the day, it was just boiled shrimp, a scoop of rice and a very small side salad. Knowing Hawaii prices are typically high, I thought $13 was a bit much per plate. You can't go wrong eating but you definitely won't be wowed.

“Good shrimp but nothing over exciting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 June 2014

We knew about this truck before coming to Honolulu but stumbled across while driving to North shore beaches. We decided to stop and have a taste of their shrimp. Well... Good shrimp but didn't knock my socks off. Portion was decent but salad was a bit too small. We didn't try shrimp anywhere else as this was enough for us as experience. Nevertheless this is iconic place in Honolulu.

“Not sure what the fuss is about”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014 via mobile

Overpriced for what it is - 9 or 10 prawns served with some salad and rice. This costs $13 but this seems to be the general price around the area of North Shore. Oh, the prawns were over cooked too.
