An amazing place. Clean, nice, and comfortable. Having an on-site care-taker was a big plus, the grounds were beautiful as the photos show. Adam was very close and responded immediately when we had a need. The property was tucked back in a quieter neighborhood but was perfectly located on the east side of the island. Close enough to Honolulu and the North Shore for a reasonable drive to both. Good beaches all over the place -- yeah, it's an island, but that doesn't guarantee good beaches. We would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful house and location in Hauula, close to the Hawaiian Cultural Center (great luau). 4 BR house on beautifully landscaped large lot in a quiet neighborhood with lots of banana palms, coconut palms and more! Property is gated and there is a stream with fish and frogs that runs behind the house. Very peaceful. Has air conditioning but really not needed during our stay in January. Waves were up to 50 feet while we were here so at times it took up to an hour to get to Haleiwa because the beaches were so busy. House had everything we needed including soap and dryer sheets for the washer and dryer and toiletry samples until you can get to the grocery stores-2 within 5-10 minutes of the house. Full kitchen with everything you need to cook at home but we really didn't cook much due to all of the fantastic restaurants and food trucks. Really have to recommend Seven Brothers for the burgers and the coconut/mac nut shrimp and Beet Box Cafe in Haleiwa for the best acai bowl. Property manager Adam went above and beyond-we contacted him about looking at the house because of a horribly maintained house we had originally rented in Hawaii Kai and could not stay another night. He let us look the property over and had it cleaned while we went back down to Hawaii Kai to pack up our stuff(previous renters had just left and it had not been cleaned). We moved in that evening and could not have been happier. We plan to rent again next time we are on Oahu if the property is available.
We loved our stay in this rental in Hauula. The lot is huge and perfectly kept. Tons of lush vegetation, coconuts in the trees, and a river in the back with fish and a small dock. The home is the perfect size, with a dreamy wrap-around porch, and doors outside from so many parts of the house. The property was clean inside and out. The location was great- a quiet, sleepy street, but still close enough to the north shore, the polynesian culture center, and a stone's throw from the beach. We could hear the ocean from our windows at night. 5 out of 5 stars! Loved it.
This property is so beautiful I don’t even feel like you have to leave it. Very Hawaiian style with beautiful greenery. Very quit street. Perfect for a family get away.
