We popped into the Whole Foods Store whilst walking the street in the afternoon, we popped in to check it out and were amazed by the food options, we didn't go here to eat, but we certainly headed back there later that night after dinner at Buzz's.
We managed to fill a couple of shopping baskets with the most fantastic cheeses, deli treats, wine, etc, everything is thee and it's great, the selection of food is second to none - you must visit here if in Kailua.

Totally fun local hangout! Great food, wine and beer, but best of all is the people watching/meeting that goes on here. If you live Kailua you have most likely eaten here.. if you are visiting it is a must do! Lots of options, live music on some evenings. Great Pau Hana deals $5 for beer and a slice of pizza!

My friend went to Whole Foods earlier in the day and bought some goodies for a lazy Saturday at home. They have the best selection of vegetarian and vegan options at the deli: broccoli with almonds, sesame ginger tofu, curry "faux" chicken salad, and an awesome Brie with fig and honey. Topped it off with a Pumpkin Cider and our day was perfect. We later needed a caffeine break so headed back for some cafe time and dessert. You need to try the flour less chocolate cake and the caramel bread pudding... They each come in a porcelain ramekin that you can keep!! What did we do on a Saturday night? We hung out at Whole Foods and it was all good.

My wife and I have stopped in to the Wine Bar several times for a quick bite to eat. Sometimes it is exceptional. There are times when they are under staffed with people that know hot to make Pizza. Recently we sat at the bar waiting for some sliders to arrive with our beer in hand watching the cashier make pizza. Everything she attempted to make was burnt to a crisp. I thought this was just a one off, but yesterday while shopping in the store I noticed more burnt pizza for sale. Maybe a training issue? That said the rest of the menu is great.
