We had dinner and drinks and both were wonderful. The views are breathtaking and service was great! Best meal and value we had while on Hawaii.

Came here with friends and enjoyed our meals. The venue is great. Drinks and service were disappointing though. Everyone's cocktails tasted watered down. Service was slow despite it not being a particularly busy night. Ok experience. Not great.

Haleiwa Joe's is a good restaurant enhanced by its setting above a lovely garden, lawn and pond. It is extremely popular. As they don't take reservations, be prepared to wait an hour or more at busy times, such as weekend evenings. While it describes itself as a "seafood grill" restaurant, there are plenty of beef, pork, and chicken options for the landlubbers, including the house specialty prime rib. One member of our party pronounced the pork chop "delicious," and another reported the sticky beef ribs as a hit. (The sticky ribs come as a half slab or full slab. A hearty teenage boy nearby was heard to proclaim he could not finish the full slab.) The Kalbi beef short ribs (an appetizer, but ordered as a main dish) disappointed because they were tougher than expected in comparison with the best Kalbi ribs available in nearby Korean restaurants. The catch of the day, prepared steamed with rice and vegetables, quite good. The baked potato, offered as an optional side for over $5.00 was a big letdown. It obviously had been languishing in some over for hours (left over from yesterday? - we ate early), and tasted like it. Order this one with caution. The spicy edame and spring roll appetizers were fine, as were the tropical cocktails available. Dinner for 4 with drinks and appetizers was about $200, not bad for a place of this type on Oahu. Servings of the prime rib observed on several tables (they were out by the time we ordered, just 2 hours after opening), were huge - 2 inches thick at least, served on the bone. Market price that night was $34.95. The major downer for this restaurant is no reservations, paired with long waits, inadequate space to wait, and inadequate parking on peak times. Go early or late of shorter waits.

As you enter the restaurant the aroma of delicious food and tropical flowers hit your senses.
We ordered small plates, as we weren't very hungry. Our party of four adults ordered 8 to 10 plates. The black and blue ahi was wonderful, but none were disappointing. The drinks were good, the atmosphere great and we loved it!

My favorite thing on the menu is the Prime Rib Dinner. If you get there early enough, before they run out, you can enjoy the BEST Prime Rib you have ever tasted. They cook it, and serve it on the bone so be prepared, but that is what makes it the deliciousness that it is. Take the bone home to your favorite pooch and you'll be a hero.. or take it home and make a delicious soup base out of it and be a hero to your family..

For appetizers, I love the coconut shrimp, garlic bread and Kalbe.. you can order these in the bar while waiting for your table instead of waiting outside by the fountain.

Try a Sunrise Double Up.. it's served in a huge glass with 2 straws. It's a tasty concoction of all the wonderfulness of Kaneohe put in liquid form.

Haiku Gardens is a lovely spot to walk before dinner, it closes at dusk, so get there early as it is quite lovely.. many weddings are conducted there, it's that beautiful.

There aren't that many spectacular restaurants on the Windward side, this is probably the best unless you go to Turtle Bay or Kailua.. So Enjoy!
