“Excellent food in Ko Olina”
Reviewed 23 October 2013

this is a special occasion kind of restaurant. We had our first dinner in Ko Olina at Ama Ama. I reserved a table so that we can enjoy the sunset while we ate. They have a decent wine list, but we are spoiled because we live in the Bay Area. I think this is the best restaurant in the Ko Olina resort area, but it is quite expensive.

“The setting was lovely, the lunch delicious !”
Reviewed 20 October 2013

We are all staying at the Waikiki Marriott, but on Friday (10/18), packed ourselves into the rented van, and took off for Ko Olina. There are some lovely, spotless lagoons there, and the two little ones had a great time splashing about, while we had a great time watching them.

Noon came quickly, and we decided to check out the Disney Resort for lunch. Inside the hotel, you almost feel like you are in "Tiki Land". It took us a while to get through all the fun stuff, as the Ama Ama restaurant is at the very end. We were seated immediately, and had a most beautiful view of the ocean. Children, obviously, are very important customers here, and they were treated as such. Service was excellent. Our server, Brittany, was delightful.

A huge surprise was the price of the drinks. A Pina Colada was very beautifully and artfully presented, and cost only $7.50. At the Waikiki Marriott it comes in a plastic tumbler (no pineapple garnish) and costs $10.00. My husband and I both had the "Cucumber Fizz" ($9.50 each) and it was the most delicious and unique drink. YUM ! We had very tasty panini sandwiches, which arrived hot at the table, our daughter had " Ahi Takaki", and our son in law had the Angus Burger. The little ones chose from the childrens' menu, and ate everything they had ordered.

All of us were very happy with this wonderful and delicious lunch, and enjoyed our afternoon there enormously. Valet parking was validated by the restaurant. (Spend $35.00 or more, and no charge for parking.)

“Amazing”

The best food I have eaten in my life. Set right by the beach, watch the sun set as you eat. The service is great. Can't wait to go back.

“Friendly waiter. Good food.”
Reviewed 5 October 2013

We booked a 5:30 reservation (early, but we were still confused on time zones) so we were there for the sunset (~6:15). Although the restaurant was pricey (wines ~$15 / glass), it was good. Be warned: it is at Disney, so if eating early, there will be TONS of kids at your "romantic" dinner. Oh..and the chocolate cake was delicious. Shout out to our waiter, Kevin. Very nice and knowledgeable.
