We were there as a hotel guest, and given a room on th 3rd floor. Floors 2 - 4 are mostly for the hotel guests. There was a slight view of he ocean, but through the trees. The upper floors are reserved for the Marriott Vacation Club members. We had a view of the BBQ grill area, and when requested, we were moved to a 7th. floor room. The balcony in the studio unit is very small, but OK for 2 people. The proprty is lush, with a great man made bay for swimming.
Staff is very accommodating. Great ocean view restaurant. Limited options for dining on site, but 10 minutes from 3 other chain restaurants and othere shops and services. Parking is $30 per night, but includes valet service to any part of the resort.

Room Tip: Request HIGH FLOOR for a better view.

We stay in one of the two bed rooms. The Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spectacular. We really like the fully equipped kitchen. The hotel located in a peaceful area near a golf course. I would recommend this place to my friends

Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of Marriott’s Ko Olina Beach Club. It is disheartening to hear we did not exceed your expectations on your trip in February. Facilities and rooms are reasonable, but when added to service, palm trees, perfect weather, plenty of seating, pools and adult pool area, the place becomes fantastic.

Area is 30 minutes from airport. As soon as you drive into resort zone, you feel that quality. There are a few different resorts here, along with golf course, shops and restaurants.

The previous time we have stayed on Oahu, we stayed in Honolulu. While ok, we have avoided Oahu since. We have preferred Kauai and Maui. Staying at Ko Olina has changed our opinion.

We definitely would return.

This is my second trip to Marriott Ko'Olina in 2013. The first one was July 4th week. Even though it was a mostly rainy at the end of Thanksgiving week, I did enjoy the resort as usual. I had a Mountainview from the Hale Moana building in a corner 2 bedroom. Room number 20-729 & 731. It had an excellent view of the par 3 signature hole of the Ko'Olina golf course. I played about 12 holes on 11/29 until the heavy rain appeared. Our twilight tee time was 2:16pm and Kama'aina rate of $55. The golf course was in excellent condition. The fresh Kanpachi fish entree at Monkeypod restaurant was a repeat order and fond memory from our previous trip.

I did notice the construction of a new stage for Fia Fia Luau. Please see the photo from the main check-in lobby. It is kind of ugly but will improve the Luau viewing. The Tuesday Luau is still going on but in another area from normal. We saw it last trip and enjoyed the fire entertainment.

One other comment: The unlimited drink mugs are out of stock for a few weeks. Kind of disappointing since it was the first question I asked upon check-in and I was thirsty. It was not a deal breaker just a comment. As a Marriott Platinum member, I usually receive this $34.95 amenity for free upon check-in and have been spoiled. I find it hard to believe that this money making item was unavailable. I even checked with the MarketPlace store.

Room Tip: Request a corner room, high floor in the Hale Moana tower, if you are assigned a mountainview and wa...

Visited for a couple nights. Rooms were slightly older but comfortable. We enjoyed the resort amenities: on site beach w/ loungers, several large swimming pools (w/ warm water!), water slide. Staff were friendly. Location was quiet and easy - 25 min drive west of Honolulu. Not far from shops and restaurants. Food was pretty good on site and not outrageously priced. Parking was a pricey $30 per day tho. Would stay again!

We have stayed at the Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club a few times the past few years and it really is a nice resort. The units are comfortable and very nicely appointed and they are clean. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well taken care of. There are lots of activities you can participate in or you can just chill out and relax by pools or on the beach. The lagoon is wonderful to swim in. The staff we have encountered have all been very nice and helpful. If you get a chance, take in their luau called Fia Fia. They run it once a week and it was very enjoyable. There are a couple of restaurants on site as well as more eating establishments in the area. It is so much nicer staying here than staying in Waikiki.
