You can't beat the location - almost right on the beach.
Great service even at busiest times.
Value good as well. Enjoy!!!!

Having eaten here before, we've found the food to be quite dependable. Our lunch had generous portions, and was very tasty with good service. The negative with this restaurant is the quality of the cocktails which come from the pool bar. Their Mai tai's taste like a glass of pineapple juice... they're so weak it's difficult to get the taste of any rum. One of the pleasures of visiting Hawaii is tasting a good Mai tai. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she went to another bar and brought back a much better tasting drink. She removed the earlier drinks from the bill and charged us for one, which we split.

The restaurant is located in the J.W.Marriott hotel, on the pool level facing the beach and oceans giving some great views as you dine. On Saturday nights they offer a seafood buffet at $54 per person, which sounds a bit pricey but when you consider all they offer and it is unlimited it is truly a bargain. The stars of the buffet are Alaskan King Crab legs, prime rib and Pacific oysters on the half shell. The raw bar also has jumbo peel and eat shrimp and chilled cooked mussels. There is a cheese table, a cold bar with six salads, one each with crab, shrimp, and salmon, coconut breaded scallops, 8 hot dishes and sides, a carving station with prime rib and roast pork, and finally a dessert station featuring chocolate fondue. All foods were at the right temperature, and they kept filling and refilling the trays until you surrendered and said I cant eat anymore. Truly a top notch event.

We went there on a Saturday for brunch. The atmosphere is relaxed, and you have a nice view over the pool and lagoon. The food was good for a buffet, even the fish was tasty - usually buffet fish is dry. The juicer is a great option and they have lots of yummy fruit. There is not unusual options, but it's good. There were some birds around, but it did not bother us, they did not come onto the table but they were flying over the food, so if that bothers you, do not come here. We didn't mind.

We took a chance getting a last minute reservation, no problem, but when we walked in there was virtually no one there, making us all worried. What a beautiful location, right in the middle of the JW, next to the shark pool. And with no one there, the service was like a private dining room, everything taken care of without asking or looking around. The soup was local and fresh. The Harris steak, almost cut with a fork. My wife, whose eaten lamb all over the world including New Zealand, puts Naupaka at the top of the list. The Opah was done perfectly bringing out its flavour without damaging the firmness of the fish. Sometimes the diamond is right out in front of you.
