“A gem in Disguise!!!”

To see this place might make you nervous about trying it, Go for It! This little shack provided us with one of our best meals while in Oahu for 7 days and did that for under $20!!!
They have the best Fish Tacos we have ever had and you are doing an injustice not to try their incredible garlic fries.
If you are looking for environment for your meal look elsewhere, but this little cinder block diner "the shack" gave us upbeat service with a smile and Wow food.

We are considering driving over there tomorrow for a repeat before we leave the island.

“True gem!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014 via mobile

this place is amazing!! I had the mahi mahi and my other half had the pulled pork. Best pulled pork and best mahi mahi (in my opinion) on the island. The prices are extremely low and they pile you up with sides and food. I almost never get full and i could not finish my plate. The rice is good and so are the fries. It's a typical wait time for carry out (about 5 to 10 mins depending on wait). You can also eat in the restaurant if you choose to do so. Highly recommended!!!

“Fast, Friendly, and Inexpensive!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 May 2014

We had heard Hawaii is very expensive. When we rolled into this little place tucked away down a side street, we could not believe our eyes. Authentic Hawaiian food from authentic natives and unbelievably reasonable prices. Can't recommend this place enough!

“Great Little Hole in the Wall”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 May 2014

We had just finished up at Hanauma Bay, and found this little place on Yelp. It had really good reviews so we decided to give the place a try even though it was a little out of the ways drive. It was a nice and clean place and the staff was really friendly. We decided to try the Steak Plate, the Garlic Ahi Plate, the Garlic Fries, and a Fish Taco. We got all of this for just under $26. Hubby loved the Steak Plate, however, I was iffy on the Garlic Ahi Plate and the Fish Taco. In both it felt like the fish was a tad overcooked. However, the Garlic Fries were delicious! Definitely try that if you check this place out. Also, their mac/potato salad is very good too. I would have to say it's better than Rainbow Drive-in's. If you're in the area, definitely try this place...if not...I probably wouldn't make it all the way out there.
