Its food, that is average. You don't get much in Pago, and this is at the better end, just don't go with any expectations and the food will be fine. Beer is cold, and the service OK

“Great Reuben sandwich”
Reviewed 16 December 2013

I didn't expect to have a great Reuben sandwich in Pago Pago, but I did. Maybe corned beef is on the menu because in the old days it was something that kept well for a long time.... We had the Sunday buffet (best Samoan oka on the island, excluding what your own grandma might make if she were Samoan) and also dinner twice. Besides the good food, there was live entertainment on the weekends. A mellow sound to match the mood of sea breezes and palm trees. The day we left Pago Pago, the restaurant staff were putting up Christmas decorations; I'm coming to like the idea of Christmas without snow.

“Pretty damn nice!”
Reviewed 19 October 2013

My wife and I visited Pago Pago for seven days and ate here quite often. Really enjoyed the food and the staff. Great breakfasts with plenty of fresh fruit and the best Loco Moco I've ever had. One helluva cheeseburger too. Really like the wahoo wrap. Breakfast, lunch or dinner were all winners. Prices were very good. I would recommend this cafe highly.

“Varied food and service”
Reviewed 24 September 2013

The majority of my food/service was fine. The beer was cold and most of the food was very good. But there were a couple times that the service and food was very poor. The first night we tried to have a drink but for some reason the restaurant and bar decided to close early then the posted time. Most of the chairs in the restaurant were already placed on top of the tables. Another time, the hostess chose not to assist us as she only returned to the table to serve our food. She never checked on us or listen to our requests. We had to practically grab her so that we could get our bill. The food is "hit or miss". One night the grilled wahoo wrap was tender and juicy but the following night the grilled wahoo burger was tough and rubbery. The 3 of us could not even eat 1/2 of the burger. It was a good thing that we ordered the sampler as a starter. Luckily...the bad were the minority. Most of the times the service was excellent and the staff was quick to assist us. The food was mostly cooked well and the taste was excellent. One of the better restaurants on the island.

“Good food and service, varied menu”
Reviewed 25 August 2013

Great live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Plenty of room in the restaurant/bar to have business meetings.
