JP Super Store is always teeming with tourists - most of which are Japanese. We made the mistake of buying something here and then finding it far cheaper in a local supermarket. Having not broken the packaging we decided we would try to return it. When we did so we were pointed towards the fine print at the bottom of the receipt which, admittedly, we should have checked before going back. The fine print states that items are non-returnable.
My advice would be to avoid buying anything in this tourist trap, unless you are so short of time, or lacking transportation to get to somewhere on the island which sells the same products at a more competitive price.
Clearly, the store's policy on returning items has been adopted due to their understanding that, in not offering a competitive price, customers may well find themselves wanting to return what they bought.
