A family run campground and you're made to feel welcome. Something for everyone - hook ups, tent sites and cabins. Pool is clean, sites were generous size. And this is probably the most affordable campground on the island (I checked). Most important, the office and grounds staff are courteous and helpful. Met some of the seasonal campers - very nice local folks. We will be back in 2014 to enjoy the campground and continue to explore the island.

Our stay at Hadley's point was great. Our flight was delayed so we ended up arriving after the office was closed. We called to let them know, and they left a map to our campsite at the office and just asked us to come by and register the next morning. That was great, we have experienced places that will not allow you to stay if you arrive late. The facilities were all very nice, showers were clean. On our last night there, my wife locked the keys in the car, and they let us use the office to call for a wrecker service to come get us in the car, and they didn't mind our late check out because the wrecker took forever. Facilities were good, but service was great! Semper Fi!

This was our first visit at the campground and it exceeded all expectations. Clean restrooms/showers, well groomed campsites with a variety of styles (wooded, open, etc), friendly, helpful staff. We can't say enough. One night, on a whim we decided to buy a bundle of fire wood when we were walking the campground and one of the staff drove by and offered to drop it off at our site. The price was very reasonable, we feel we got a great value for our money. Overall a great experience - we would definitely stay again.

The campground was nice enough, the people great (responded very quickly and appropriately when there was trouble in the site across from us). The sites were a little small with just a little bit of separation of trees. Not the smallest that we have experienced though.

we went to Maine on our honeymoon and were going to stay in a tent but when we got there it was raining so we were going to go to a hotel but when we went to checkout they asked us if we wanted to stay in there cabins. So they upgraded us to a cabin they are very nice and clean inside they also have a bathroom so you don't need to walk to the shower rooms. very very nice people we also took our dog he loved it too! we will be staying there again.

We were looking for a cabin to stay in near Acadia National park. These are very clean inside. They also have a bathroom, with a shower for 7 mins it costs 50 cents. Beats walking to the showers. Each cabin has a heater and A/C. Felt safe and clean. Would stay again in the future.
We were in #5.

It is hard to pick places to stay looking through books or on-line. We were not disappointed with Trailer Life's rating or the reviews on Trip Advisor. A nice park, lots of sites, lots of options, whether you want an open grassy site or to be in the woods. Staff has been very friendly. Bathrooms, laundry room and showers are clean and kept up. Our only complaint was that we had a pull through site, however the road we needed to drive on for the pull thru was not really a road, it was grass and it had been saturated with rain. There was no way we could have driven down the grass without sinking. We backed in, which was fine.

Great location for Acadia and all the wonderful little seaside towns. Across the street is a seafood place called C-Ray Lobster, mmmm. Good prices, great seafood, highly recommend.
