“My favorate place to dine”
Reviewed 7 August 2011

Whether its my favorite cafe salad or the steak, I always get my food exactly how I want it. The staff are very hospitable and accommodating. The ambiance is very pleasant and romantic. I love the seasonal flowers decorating the dining rooms and all the home-grown edible flower garnishing the plate. This shows me dedication and pride of their product... Truly a reflection of quality for my money!

“Great, fresh seafood”
Reviewed 7 August 2011

Took my family who was visiting from the west, Everyone had a diferent dish and we all enjoyed the meal. Nice small place, so on a busy night, reservation is a must. Wait staff went out of the way to be helpful, even made a special dish for one in our party who had food alergy

“Pleasant dining experience”
Reviewed 7 August 2011

The atmosphere was homey and welcoming. The pecan crusted salmon was delicious and hit the spot. The accompaniments of mashed sweet potato and cole slaw perfectly balanced the dish. I would definitely go back.

“Needs improvements in many ways”
Reviewed 1 August 2011

1. receive menus wait 15 minutes
2. near empty restaurant and finally waitress brings water and takes drink order
(is she too busy we wonder? to be a little more prompt...again near empty restaurant!)
3. we get drinks and wait an hour to get our meal
4. the meal comes...we get salads and pita with the meal. the waitress is clueless that she should bring something in the hour gap...we have 3 children with us that would love to have a morsel of something
5. the meal comes...5 luke warm scallops ($24) watery salad ($6) blueberry/lemon martini with next to no vodka...and I really could use a strong drink by now ($8) rice: cold
6. after meal 15 minutes and waitress comes to ask us if we would like dessert..we say no, gotta go. 10 more minutes to get our check.

We wonder...is this a bad waitress or a bad restaurant. A good waitress can tell the kitchen to get the food out and get it out hot. If the restaurant attitude is too laid back to care then it was reflected by our server. Don't waste your money here...Martha Stewart obviously got some attention but I wouldn't bet on you getting any.

“Not what we expected”
Reviewed 10 July 2011

We visited Cafe Bluefish because we were curious about their claim of being mentioned on the Food Network for their lobster streudal. We ordered the lobster streudal and a salmon dish. The salmon was tasty, but the lobster streudal was not so impressive. It is just lobster salad baked inside some sheets of phyllo dough. It claimed to have carmelize onions but we could not find any. The dish was edible, but really not that good.
