Owner description: St. Saviour is an historical Episcopal church. The oldest part of the church was begun in 1876; later parts were added through 1901, including the renowned collection of stained glass windows by Tiffany and others. The parish is still active today, and we invite you to visit for a tour, for worship, or just for a moment of quiet respite in your day. During the tourist season (June - October), the church is open daily from about 8:30 - 5:00 for self-guided tours. Guided tours Sunday 11:15 (after the 10:00 Eucharist) and other times by appointment. The Church office (next door) is open Tuesday-Friday 8:30 - 1:30 year-round. May God continue to bless you!

“A hidden gem”
Reviewed 10 August 2014

Stumbled upon this on a rainy day and went inside. The Tiffany stained glass windows are just down right gorgeous. Their colors are so vibrant. A woman saw us come in and began to play the organ. We later talked to her and she shared some history about the church when asked. So glad we went inside.

“Angelic choral music”
Reviewed 26 July 2014

One of the highlights of our trip was arriving Sunday evening, walking past St. Saviours on our way in to town, and hearing the choir hard at practice with their excellent voices.

“An art lovers must!”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

We lucked out by arriving right after a group on tour from a cruise ship. The tour guide invited us to listen in (so kind). Even with out the tour guide knowledge it is a worthwhile trip. The church itself if so peaceful and beautiful. You can easily discern which are the Tiffany pieces and will certainly enjoy close inspection of his amazing technique.
