We stayed at this hotel for 4 days while touring Maine. It is fairly new and very nicely decorated. The room was spacious and comfortable with a king bed. The staff was very, very helpful and courteous and gave us great ideas for things to do in the area. We wanted to go to Arcadia National Forest but unfortunately got there just after the government shut down in the fall of 2013 and could not drive through. Many bikers and hikers was still enjoying the park, however. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of foods and plenty of room for the guests to enjoy. The location in Bar Harbor was excellent. We could walk to many restaurants in the neighborhood, the Village Green and it was only a short drive to the harbors. We went out on the Lulu Lobster Boat which was very educational and entertaining. I would highly recommend this hotel!
