This was a real find. Place was clean and staff was very friendly. Very well located to both town and Acadia National Park. Does not have a restaurant but a short drive will get you to one. The rooms were big and had a nice shower. The breakfast was the usual but they had blueberry bread for toasting that was very good. Would definitely stay there again.

This place was clean and we were pretty pleased of this choice for Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The bed wasn't the most comfortable on our two week trip, but wasn't awful, either. They had a nice breakfast each morning that included eggs and some type of meat, not just fruit/cereal bars/toast/bagels/muffins, etc. The ladies that kept up the breakfast room were nice to talk to and they didn't mind you taking a piece of fruit with you for your day out, which was very nice. The bathroom was good, especially because the vanity area was large enough for makeup. We made use of their laundry room, which was in the basement and was kept up clean. By this time of our trip, we certainly were thankful to be able to wash a few loads of clothes, of course, it cost a few bucks, but I brought my own washing pods and dryer sheets, which saves a bit. The location is very good to visit the area; their rates were pretty reasonable...you might consider the Acadia Inn!

We stayed here in what was considered their off season (late Oct.). Clean hotel with a large bathroom. Bed was okay, but there was much noise from the floor above which was a drawback. The breakfast was in a very nice spacious room but the food offerings were average. The staff in the kitchen were nice, but the front desk was so-so. I understand that the rates are double in the summer, so I am assuming that they must offer much more.

Room Tip: The upper floors might be better due to overhead noise.

The front desk staff was very accommodating. They had a book full of descriptions of each hike in Acadia National Park and helpful tips about the town shuttle. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were on the second floor so we could hear the people above us getting ready in the morning. That was the only drawback to the hotel.

Room Tip: The rooms on the north side of the hotel have a tree view and you cannot hear the traffic from the highway

The room was clean but the water pressure in the shower lacked strength. The Inn though is close enough to just about everything. We stayed in late October so no firepit or outside movie or popcorn bar which was disappointing.
