Description: Punjab Cafe is unassuming from the outside, a step inside, calm and inviting, and most of all - transporting. Soothing tabla and sitar music, welcome you as waitstaff deliver authentic North Indian dishes and intriguing relishes in a variety of platters, ramekins, and shallow bowls with carved handles. Dining at Punjab Café is stepping in to our own kitchen as family and friends with service that is friendly and familiar. From blending each spice and dough mixture by hand to cooking each dish to order. We take great pride in providing our customers with authentic Punjabi cuisine, made from scratch and fresh premium ingredients .The restaurant is a lovely, inviting escape from contemporary pressures. And the owners, chefs and staff are devoted to their craft and in sharing the wonderful mysteries of Indian cuisine with the community.

Went for dinner during the work week and met long time friends. I never remember the names of what we ordered -- marsala, naan, some kind of lamb, rice, something else -- everything is always well prepared. Spices, service, atmosphere --Wait-staff extremely friendly and helpful.

“Family owned and operated”
Reviewed 27 September 2013

I love Punjab. I have lived far away from this place for a few years now and I can't wait to go back. I have tried many different indian restaurants hoping they would be like this one. Lunch has great prices... the owner is always there smiling and his kids are there often working hard themselves. The chat papri is a cold salad that i love with raita over the top. It is the perfect accompaniment to the authentic spicy currys. You can't go wrong here! I can't wait to move back and be a frequent flier once again because i haven't found any other that comes as close

“Great Service”
Reviewed 12 September 2013

We regularly get take out from Punjab because the food is great. Last night there was a mistake with our order (not sure if it was mis-communication on my side or their fault).

The Guys solved the issue quickly and gave me the food free of charge because of the mistake regardless of who was at fault. We did not expect or want anything for free but they did it because they felt responsible.

Not all companies are run with clients best interest in mind, especially when their is an issue but they appreciate the business and handle their customers with care.

Nice work Guys - keep it up...

“Very flavorful”
Reviewed 3 September 2013 via mobile

Punjab was hard to find but it was worth the effort. The service was excellent and the recommendation for the vegetarian dishes and meat dishes were welcomed. The chutney and the then the food was very Flavorful but not hot which was highly appreciated (we asked for mild). The portions were generous.

Highly recommended

“wrong order, wrong flavours, wrong strength”
Reviewed 28 August 2013

My daughter read the favourable reviews for Punjab before relocating from England to Quincy so naturally we decided to order takeaway from there on our first night visiting our family. Very disappointing. We ordered 4 main dishes, with 3 flavours, and 2 strengths. The Goat Josh was indistinguishable from their Kormas, which were very unsatisfactory, no real flavour as we have become acustomed to enjoy in England, with our Indian population restaurants.. And Medium and Medium plus had little difference, both being too hot. Sad.
