The rooms were clean and it included breakfast, which was a good price. The staff were friendly and helpful. Comfort of the bed was good but needed bigger pillows. Liked the idea that there were quiet time from 10pm to 7am which people actually followed. We also liked the fact that they have complimentary shuttles to airport-which was great!. All and all it was a good experience. We didn't use the pool or workout center because we had family events to attend but both looked clean and inviting.

Second stay here and a big fan. We love it for the close proximity to a lot of things we like to see. The subway is just down the street and you can catch the road out of town a few blocks away to head south to Plymouth, Cape Cod, etc. Very clean, staff helpful and friendly and the pub/restaurant is really nice and has good food also. Only problem we had and it was only one time was getting into the hotel parking lot because you have to go under a bridge, which can be confusing, but after one time, you get the hang of it! Price reasonable, would stay here again!

Granddaughter and I vacationed Boston area for 9 days. Good location, close to I 93 about 10 miles south of Boston. Price was very good for this area-close to subway-transport to and from airport free. Free breakfast is sit down with waitresses both of whom were exceptional! Room had been recently renovated-clean-comfortable. Have a variety to pick from and you can always add something and pay for it-much better than serve yourself where people are coughing and touching the food! Our room faced St Charles River-not much to see there but the peaceful water floating by. Not far from airport, but don't have noise and confusion. Quincy is a nice city, lots of good places to eat. We would stay again.

Very uncomfortable beds. Fixtures in bathroom old and falling apart. Restaurant was very slow and breakfast very limited. Internet was very slow. Pool closed at 7pm so my kids were not able to swim in the evening. This was a big disappointment. Also, the pool is very small. The hotel staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

We checked in at 9:30. It was my husband, my toddler, and myself. We got there and were told that they were at full capacity so all they had for us was a tiny 1 bed standard room. Not large enough for the baby and 2 adults to sleep on. Their answer? A roll out cot (which there was no room for in the room) which they put into the bathroom. We complained to the management and were told tough luck. Actually, the manager changed our room on night 2 and first told us that they would refund out 1st night stay (we were staying 3 nights) so we didn't switch hotels, but then said that she never said that, at the end of our trip. It was basically a really horrible experience where we were duped.

Additionally, both the old and new rooms had mold on the ceilings and walls and were in need of serious updating. First room smelled on top of everything else. You get what you pay for. We stayed here because it was cheaper. I thought that was due to the further out location but now I see that the service and rooms added to the cheap price.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else.

our stay at the Adams Inn was excellent. We used it as our home base while in Boston, convenient access to the highway. The ambience of it's setting was great... enjoyed sitting on the patio beside the river in the evenings gave us a chance to wind down. the Breakfasts were great, I prefer a served meal as opposed to a buffet... all in all an excellent experience

We stayed at the Adams Inn for three nights during a long family trip to the East Coast. Since we were driving, we wanted a hotel with parking that was close to a T station and not horribly expensive. The Adams Inn was one of a very few that met those criteria.

The setting is quite nice, on the river, and the view from our riverside room was attractive. The room was not large, but was pleasant, with a high vaulted ceiling. Our room had one queen bed, and our teenage son slept on the pull-out couch. It was a bit crowded with three staying in the room, but we managed.

The North Quincy T station is about 3/4 of a mile to the south. The walk was fine in the mornings, but did seem long in the evening after a tiring day walking around Boston.

When on trips like this, we often eat a big breakfast at the hotel and take some yogurt and a bagel with us for lunch. That strategy won’t work here, because you order breakfast from a fixed list of options, with no buffet. The food you receive is fine, but it’s not a lot to fuel you on a day of walking the Freedom Trail. We went to the grocery store down the street and bought fruit and bread to take with us each day.

There is a hotel shuttle, but it never seemed to work for us. We couldn’t make it work with our schedule, which was irritating, because a ride to the T station would have certainly been nice.

When we left, the front desk clerk gave me inaccurate directions about how to get on the interstate, which was certainly frustrating.

Overall, this was a good experience. The Quincy Inn is well located and met our very specific needs. Considering the hotel rates in Boston, this can be a more affordable option for visiting the area.

Room Tip: Ask to stay on the river side. Views are lovely.
