Beautiful flowers and plants in a gorgeous park. The flowers on the front of the conservatory are stunning. Inside the conservatory there are an array of plants and flowers. My favorite are the orchids. Really beautiful.

This building grabs your attention right when you enter Golden Gate Park. It looks like a huge bright white palace, set up on a hill and surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds and palm trees. Inside, this historic Victorian greenhouse is full of rare orchids and tropical plants from around the world. Right now they have a special exhibit of carnivorous plants called "Chomp!" which is fascinating, especially to kids. The botanical collections are beautifully displayed. It's a very peaceful and lovely place.

Stunning mini version of Kew Gardens (England) - an amazing lady on the door was so enthusiastic, the hothouses are full of beautiful specimens - a photographer's delight! Plenty to see and wonder at.

We came across this as we strolled though the park and it is well worth the small entrance fee. So many beautiful plants in attractive landscaping. And what a surprise at the end, to see a small pond in the gift shop with two live turtles swimming around!
