Owner description: Incredible Adventures is an outdoor travel company specializing in tours from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, Muir Woods, California's Napa and Sonoma Wine Country, and whitewater rafting on the American River. We've been offering travelers a safe, eco-friendly, reliable way to connect with nature since 1993, and our professional guides are experts in the destinations we visit throughout the Western United States. We strive to provide personal, unique experiences for our small groups (16 max). We accomplish this by creating relaxed, flexible itineraries for our tours, and by going the extra mile - both literally and figuratively - to assure an authentic view of the lesser-traveled roads and sights of our beautiful California countryside. We believe strongly in maintaining the wild lands and National Parks of California (and all over the world), and know that tourism can be a strong factor in whether these magnificent areas continue to thrive for future generations to enjoy. In order to minimize the environmental impact of our business on the destinations we visit, we operate our vehicles on sustainable, petroleum-free biodiesel fuel made from local recycled cooking oil. Our fleet is made up of 13-20 passenger mini-coaches which all run on B100! From the mild to the wild, in a day or overnight, in a hotel or at a campsite, escape to the great outdoors with Incredible Adventures!

We had an excellent trip with Brian, the guide and driver, to Napa and Sonoma Valleys. We visited more vineyards than other tour companies would visit and Brian even altered our scheduled trip in order to accommodate a request from some other passengers who wished to see one vineyard in particular. Out lunch was included and was really nice and fresh and delicious. We saw a lot in one day- more than we would have done if we had booked with a different company. The trip was only for about 4-12 people and so it was more personal and intimate than going on a big coach. I would travel with Incredible Adventures again and the booking process with Dan was excellent as he was very patient with all my many questions.

We did the Yosemite day tour and absolutely loved it! If you haven't been to Yosemite, I highly recommend you do! It's breathtaking. I really didn't want to go as we had a wine tour the previous day and were leaving San Francisco the next day but it was well worth it. The best thing about this tour is that it's only a small group of 8 people. The tour guide was great, and very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended!

We had the most fantastic time on our 3-day Yosemite camping tour! Our guide Tim was friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed, aptly assessing our groups' capabilities and taking us on hikes that matched them perfectly. After driving to Yosemite and stopping off to buy snacks and lunch on the way, our first day was spent hiking up to Verdana Falls, which were beautiful, and on to Nevada Falls if you had the time (and inclination). The next day we visited the Giant Sequoia grove and hiked to both Glacier and Taft Point for some amazing views of the valley. Due to the fires in Yosemite Valley, the entire final day was left to us to choose what to do, and Tim recommended a great hike up to the top of Upper Yosemite Falls which yielded even better vistas.

Camping in Yosemite was a great experience- the campsite itself was well appointed, with 2 swimming pools and a nearby beach for river swimming. The first night we ate at the campsite diner and cooked on the second, but had campfires both nights complete with s'mores! One of the highlights of the trip was wandering down to the beach on the second night to look at the stars. Everyone in our group was really friendly and overall we had an amazing experience and highly recommend Incredible Adventures.

We booked this trip months in advance so spent a long time looking forward! We were not disappointed! The tour guid 'Gussy' arrived promptly and was really friendly and knowledgable about SF&its history as well as California in general. The journey there was fine, took about 2hours and there was some good scenery on the way. When we arrived we changed vans & met the rafting team. Again they were lovely&knew so much about the area, rafting and made us feel really welcome. The experience itself was AMAZING! We loved every minute of the rafting, it was so beautiful and some really fun rapids. Afterwards you get a BBQ & a quick visit to a winery which was also great. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone considering it!

The van pickup was prompt and picked us up right at our hotel. Our driver was very knowledgable in regards to San Fran and the surrounding areas. Be sure to dress in layers if you travel in August to San Fran and Muir woods. I was freezing in shorts and jacket but I was still able to enjoy the beautiful trees. I will post some photos. We then warmed up as we were dropped in the town of Sonoma on our own after stopping at the Larsen Family winery. We had lunch at a little market which was off the beat and path. Picnic tables, grilled cheese and wine at an indoor spot. They even had a guitar singer. We walked in and out of stores until it was time to hit the wineries. The second winery after lunch was a small independent one where the wine tasted like vinegar. A family on our bus requested Napa so for our final winery we went Madonna winery. Great wine and presentation. Our purchased wines were shipped almost immediately to NJ because they were at our door waiting for us 4 days later. All in all, a great day. Worth the trip to see the huge trees!!!!!
