“Worth the Time”
Reviewed 22 July 2014 via mobile

We purchased our tickets on Travelzoo for half price. We took our granddaughter who really enjoyed it. We stood most of the time in front of the boat. It was relaxing and worth the money.

“Great way to cross the Bay”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

Taking a ferry ride from Jack London Square to San Francisco Ferry Building is a great way to spend a day in the City. I took my wife for a lunch trip to Fisherman's Warf on the weekend just for fun. The Bay was flat and the ride across the water on a catamaran ferry was most enjoyable and smooth. It is nice just to act like a tourist every now and then and enjoy the sites that people from all over the globe come to San Francisco to view. Our beautiful bay is one such site and crossing via the water is a wonderful experience. The excursion price is very reasonable.

“Great trip to Sausalito”
Reviewed 18 July 2014

We took the ferry to Sausalito to visit Muir Woods. The ferry left on time and was a nice ride over to Sausalito. It was $22 per person, round trip. It's a great way to get over there.

“Glad It Was Included In City Pass”
Reviewed 15 July 2014

We decided to go on this cruise because we didn't book tickets to Alcatraz in time. My first choice would have been Alcatraz but since we were too late in booking I would say this is an okay alternative. We decided to take the Escape From the Rock cruise for $5 more. I expected to hear more about Alcatraz, but it only seemed to be the last half when we sailed around Alcatraz that they talked about it. It was a nice view going under the Golden Gate Bridge though. It gets cold out on the water, so make sure to bring a jacket or sweatshirt. We were on the upper deck and I got too cold (I'm always cold) and headed down to the inside deck where I was much more comfortable. My girls (8 and 11) enjoyed the cruise also. There is a restroom on the boat, and they also serve drinks and snacks on board. Glad it was included in our city pass but probably wouldn't have went other wise. For those that want a more exciting boat ride I suggest the Rocket Boat, that looked like fun!

“1 hr cruise”
Reviewed 14 July 2014 via mobile

An hour long cruise around the Bay taking in the major sights with running commentary. The ticket was part of the City Pass which made it worth it. Try get the seats on the top deck, aft starboard which will give the best views of the sites!
