Great traditional bar with a huge selection of beers on tap. Good location on the wharf and a great place to stop for a drink. Bar staff are very friendly.

As we wondered the Marina area we noticed this bar so we stopped in for a cold one. Wow to our surprise they had about 66 draft beers and ciders. The atmosphere was fun and they had live music. This is a good cooling off place.

Out of town visitors. Stopped in while walking by. Good live music, great atmosphere. Reminded me of an old east coast bar. Lots and lots of draft choices. Absolutely visit again when in town.

Visited in September last year after a recommendation.

For craft beer lovers it is a great choice (see the menu in my pic).

It is a bit tired inside, especially the toilets.

Would visit again just for drinks!

Jack's used to be the place to go in SF if you wanted a good range of quality and exciting craft beers. But, as the years have gone on the range has decreased, and the choices a bit "same old, same old" - a bit tired. There are undoubtedly more exciting and inspiring places in town now. Its not the sheer number of beers thats important but the finger has to be on the pulse and the newer brewing boys on the block shouldnt be ignored. Prices on the high side for somewhere that is really just a bit of a dive bar......
