We went to see Brit Floyd and the Warfield is excellent. It is old art deco, the stage is good from any seat..the sound was great. There are full bars all over the venue..the staff was very friendly and professional...great show!

First time to attend event at Warfield. We purchased rear orchestra center tickets row R. Were surprised to see that the entire bottom floor was furnished in metal folding chairs. Our entire section was a flat floor, with seats not even off set. Viewing was horrible. I got a sore neck from straining to see over, around, under, etc. the rows in front of us. It was a group act --I could never find a spot from which I could see the person in the center (usually lead singer) Have had better seats in a school gymnasium. VERY disappointing experience. Will not attend here again.

We caught Dave Coz, Jonathan Butler, Keiko Matsui and Oleta Adams there for a Christmas show. They were awesome, we had a great time. The theater was really cool, vintage but very nice.

Went to see Bryan Adams here. He said he chose it as it was intimate & we would be able to hear his words. He was right, the acoustics are great. Staff were friendly & helpful, drinks were readily (nor overpriced) available with plenty staff, so no long queues. Comfortable seats, good views, great venue. Bryan Adams was excellent!

We purchased tickets to the Rascals Once Upon a Dream reunion concert and show. When we arrived the usher could not find our seats. (We had purchased seats in Row N, 111 - 112 as they were center and not too close to the stage but only half way back from the stage.) Another usher came up to us and told us to wait and the two of them would find the seats so we didn't "have to do laps." They discovered our seats had been removed to put in a projector the setup crew was not told about when they started selling the seats.

Bernadette, the usher who ended up solving our problem, told us to wait where we were and she would trade our non-seat tickets for new seats on the floor. She was so polite and friendly and helpful. She got us seats in the front row right in the middle. While we appreciated being so close to the stage that we really could see everything, as you know, the acoustics are not so great there. However, we decided to stay in those seats since we had never experienced a concert from the front row. Bernadette also re-seated a couple that was in the front row and decided they did not want to be so close. She did this with a smile. All the various staff we encountered from ticket takers to security personnel were very polite and friendlly.

The venue itself was built in 1922 so has a certain kind of class to it. It was re-opened and refurbished in 1979 by Bill Graham Presents. The seats were folding but padded and comfortable. We did not use the restrooms or food service. The Warfield is on the edge of a very seedy neighborhood but there were enough people leaving all at the same time that we felt safe enough. Too bad San Francisco doesn't clean up the neighborhhood around this little gem.
