Having been to the Burger Bar in Macy's a couple of times in the past few years and enjoyed both the view and the food, I brought out-of-town guests there recently-- only to discover that the quality of the food has gone down. The prices, of course, have not. The chicken breast sandwich was dry, the sweet potato fries limp, the mac-and-cheese straight out of a Kraft box, and the onion rings out of the freezer case. My son's Kobe beef burger, which he asked for medium-rare had to be sent back not once but twice: the first time it was grey and overdone, the second time burnt on the top and raw in the middle. Never again.
