Description: Tacolicious is by no means a traditional taqueria-you won't find burritos here. What started out in the summer of 2009 as a little taco stand at the Thursday Ferry Plaza Farmers Market with a fittingly frivolous name, has become a sit-down, cocktail-driven restaurant, 120 tequilas strong. Tacos anchor a menu that extends to dishes such as beet salad with grapefruit and pumpkin seeds, tuna tostadas, grilled squid served Veracruz-style, albondigas, shrimp a la diabla, and toasted coconut flan. Like many native Californians, Mexican food is in us. Though we grew up traveling to Mexico regularly (and still do), it took a trip to Mexico City-where the food is served in settings as sophisticated and urban as you'll find anywhere in the world-for us to realize that tacos don't have to be relegated to street food or a corner mom-'n'-pop. We're proud to be based in San Francisco, a town where the words local, sustainable and organic have become so redundant that they make you want to yawn. But just in case you were wondering about our menu: The answer is almost always, "Yes, yes and yes."

Came here simply as the beer garden looked like an escape from the sun. Grwat selection of beers, awesome and polite service and most importantly excellent tacos. Really worth a visit.

Tacolicious was recommend to me by my hotel as the best place to get a taco in San Francisco and they were right! We just got platter of tacos and stuffed ourselves. I think there was a short rib taco which was amazing. The cocktails are good and very unique. I had a spicy margarita!

The wait can be annoying and they don't take reservations, but we just put our name in and wandered around the neighborhood.

Overpriced, and too noisy. The wait staff were dour and unfriendly, and the busser took some of our food before we were finished with it (without asking). There are many other places to eat in San Francisco, so give this place a miss!

We were told to go to this restaurant by another restaurant and we are so glad we did. The staff are incredible and so is the food (loved the passion fruit and habanero shot). It is in a great location and has such a fun atmosphere that we stayed for awhile. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Ate there three times. Tried everything on the menu. Amazing food and great ambiance. Fresh ingredients put together will expertise. Big fan of the fish tacos and ceviche. Went to both locations, though the Valencia shop is more fun. Hard to find without the address.
