Neighborhood leaves a bit to be desired but Chambers is worth the trip off the beaten path. Interesting, intimate interior with shelves filled with old records. Friendly staff. Fun place people watching, but that could be said for most of San Fran. And then comes the food - traditional items with a twist. Smoked grit fries and enormous tater tots came with savory dipping sauces. Duck breast was very tender and wonderfully plated with a number of vegetables and grains. Looking forward to trying the burger the next time I'm in town.
