The hotel is well positioned for visiting the Wharf area and the north of the city. There is very limited space at the front of the hotel to stop in a car and drop your bags off. There is only a very short, narrow drive area and parking at the hotel itself was extremely expensive.
Our room was clean, well sized and had good facilities including a small microwave and fridge. There were the usual tea and coffee making facilities.
Breakfast food was good with a sufficient variety. However, on one occasion, ten minutes before breakfast time ended, they had run out of pastries and when I asked for some the unhelpful assistant told me breakfast was ending soon and they would not be replenished. As with many American hotels the plates and cups were paper and the cutlery was plastic
Some of the reception staff we encountered were unhelpful and unfriendly although others were very pleasant and helpful.
A modern, clean hotel in a good location let down a bit by some staff.
